I love the hospitality of the staff at the Marriot. From checkin to check out every one was kind. We was even given a late check out. Our train didnt leave till 6, heading to Charleston. Rosie at check in accommodated us. There was an error to our room and we came back down and Music accommodated and even gave us $15 to use at the store. I forgot the young ladies name that handled the transaction, but she was kind as well. We ate 3 times at the restaurant inside of the hotel. 1st night service was a little slow when we got seated, but the gentleman that ended up being our server was good and attentive. The food was decent and we ordered room service 2 times afterwards. We was not a fan of the pizza tho. On checkout day we purchased the riverboat tour and that was ok. We came back to get our bags and we met Morgan. She was a doll! We chatted as if we had known each other for years! She gave us tips for when we come back and a brief history lesson. I love the diversity of the staff at the hotel. I didnt feel treated differently as I had heard especially abt most places in the south. Marriotts are good hotels and the sheets and bed are bar none! The workout room was nice and clean as well. The views were gorgeous from our balcony that we were upgraded to
I can just say maybe the price. Allow discounts for teachers or use any amt of points. Reward days would be helpful too. The prices at the store was a bit much. I think all Bonvoy members should be able to partake in the concierge floor.

Housekeeping were kind to bring linens and cover for the pullout, and made the bed for us. Great service!
Nice and clean. Appreciated the tour guide information. Car parking was very expensive, and a bit of a surprise as reading the online information it did not mention a parking fee. Restaurant and online menus for the restaurant need to be updated. As there were too many things that were not available. Staff were very cordial.

there was a baby crying and children screaming next door all night and day the walls are very thin. Did not get any rest at all. No free parking in hotel

Great location in the river. We called ahead to ask for a river view room annd told yrs. However we were told they were all booked when we checked in. They were able to move us next day by request.
Bar, restaurant need more help.
Pool was outdated, dirty and gate open to parking lot. Will try a different Savanna Marriott next stay.

Nice hotel, the pool was an afterthought and a huge miss. We never used it because it was lucky atmosphere and could not eat and drink out there.
