The staff

Atendimento, acomodação, academia, cafÊ da manhâ.
Da lavanderia e falta de atendimento em portuguĂŞs.
For being ine of the oldest hotels that was constructed here, i mean this property is decent. Needs more Hospitality Training from the Assis Mgr Christine to the breakfast attendant maybw im wrong or it was the lobby attendant. For the two days consecutively i stayed Christine looked like she was having a miserable two days but she was nicer to the other guests, just becauae I inquired about an early check in and quickly responded âNo availabilityâ but dear lord, she didnt even ask for my last name, what if I had checked in a day before my arrival so i could check in at my convenient time?!? She said she will let me kkow and waited 3 hours which I was ok, but to find out she called the other guests that arrived aftwr me without even informing me theres availability. I let it go and see if shes different the next day.
By the way everyone else is beyodn nice and very hospitable and detail oriented except for the Assistant Manager! (She doesnt even realize , im an operations Manager for another Hilton, and ill forward this to guest assistance), but shell be the one checking it anyway)
The next day, i opened up a conversation but everytime we cross paths she has this look on her face, maybe she does not like gay people, just saying. I extended my stay and ahe did not even acknowldege my tier level! She even talked to ger FD and cursing not realizing i hear her. Its really unprofessional and if ahe doesnt want to handle people, she should try Housekeeping, or maybe be a Houseman/House attendant! She can work on her own pace. Just wanted to share! But everyone else is very nice, TJ and Willie,
staff was very sweet and it was an easy 15 min drive to Pace Univ-where my son goes to college.
booking.com description lists an outdoor pool. This was a major factor for us-with the long drive, the little kids needed a place to burn off some road trip energy. The pool has been closed for 2 years according to the front desk staff. Since we prepaid on booking-we couldnât just leave and go to another hotel and canât get a refund.
The room
itself was small
but manageable. Bathroom was very very worn-paint chipping/peeling.
AC is horribly loud but we were just there for one night so didnât bother to mention it.
Location to major highways
Dirty elevators, rooms were in need to repairs and updates
Complete crap hole donât stay here âŚ
Breakfast was fine.
There was hair in the bed . The mattress is very old and uncomfortable. It needs to be replaced. Itâs fine for one person but not for two because you both roll to the middle.
The microwave smelled and also sounded like it would explode. It needs to be replaced.
The toilet is very low. This Hampton needs a refresh!!! If this was my first stay at a Hampton, Iâd never go back. I always stay at Hampton this was the worst even though the staff was super nice and helpful.
We generally stay at Hampton Inns and have very good and consistent experiences. As many others have said, this hotel is unfortunately a bad exception. While I agree, the front staff was very nice and courteous, nothing else about our stay was good. The room was severely outdated, the carpets in the elevators were filthy. While our room felt clean enough, the shower had mold in it and the bathroom itself was so small that the door just barely missed hitting the toilet. We couldnât wait to get out of there. Thankfully, we were only booked for one night. Oh, and the parking lot itâs weirdly on a hill, which is probably a challenge for some people. Strangely, you canât walk up or down the front steps with suitcases, there are no ramps so you are either lugging your suitcases up and down those steps or you have to go the long way around to find a ramp. We also unplugged our refrigerator during the night because it was so loud we were unable to sleep with it on and the walls are super thin: someone next-door sneezed and I had to stop myself from saying bless you. There are plenty of other options. Donât go to this hotel.
Location
Overall cleanliness was subpar. Very disappointed in this Hampton Inn. The entire hotel was run down. It was like it had been abandoned and someone bought it and just reopened it with no updates.
There are complaints I could make about this hotel, but they are all offset by the staff. At the front desk will is one of the best customer service representatives Iâve had and the experience Iâve had with him outweighs any negatives.
I have stayed here beforeâŚa number of times..itâs within 5 mins of where my sister lives.
It close to I-287, and is pet friendly.
The room and hotel interior were good. The exterior of the building is not in line with what I think of a Hilton hotel. Spaulding concrete in many locations, concrete steps that have deteriorated to the point where rebar is exposed, sidewalk slabs broken, fences down, in short, a lot of places where one can trip and hurt oneâs self.. also, a lot of construction debris on the uppermost parking lot..detracts greatly from the ambiance of the place.
