Front desk managers especially helpful .
The room was fine.
There was no electricity or water in the morning. And they also lost my father's blazer inbetween reception and the room. Kind of a shit show. I couldn't believe I was paying over $400 in Greenwich for such mediocrity.
Convenient location
The property experienced a full water outage during our stay along with a corresponding power outage. That was after we were awoken by loud music playing in the atrium at 8am. While the hotel agreed to waive the fees for our entire stay, Booking.com could not negotiate that same deal and therefore, despite the horrible experience, we merely got a $50 credit from booking.com. From now on, I will be booking directly with the hotels whenever possible.
I stayed at this property a couple of weeks ago and had an outstanding experience. The service was impeccable, the food was excellent, and room service was prompt and professional.
I would especially like to recognize Pamela at the front desk. Her service went above and beyond my expectations. I had an issue that needed to be resolved, and she not only handled it efficiently but also took the extra step of helping me locate a box I had been searching for. She followed up personally to make sure everything was taken care of and demonstrated exceptional customer service throughout my stay.
Overall, I consider this one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The staff truly cares about their guests, and Pamela’s professionalism and dedication made a lasting impression. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Excelente hotel
Personal debe hablar español especialmente en recepcion
Location
Service and staff. Incredibly rude. Especially at the restaurant
Great Hotel and wonderful staff. We went for business and stayed 4 nights. The food was great and we enjoyed eating breakfast in the garden court.
Soile was amazing and so kind when checking us in! The hotel was more beautiful than the pictures and it was a nice little vacation out of NYC. We did not have an atrium view suite so can’t speak to the noise level from the lobby but our King room was so spacious and faced the trees in such a scenic way. Will definitely be visiting again!
Lovely atrium, spacious rooms, and very close to old Greenwich, a great place to eat and shop. There a great place called Sweet Pea!
Very comfortable
It was Mother's Day. Only breakfast was brunch.
Brunch turned out to be $100 per person.
While the food was good it appeared impossible to get a hot cup of tea. Every time the water was lukewarm. I tried asking for boiling water for my tea but got something just a bit hotter. At least the water didn't taste of coffee. If you're going to be a fancy luxury place, you should at least produce hot hot tea for this Brit. Even a diner can manage that.
always love staying here. staff is very very kind, lobby is gorgeous, parking is easy, rooms are clean consistently, good tasting atmosphere.
a bit expensive but i'll
always come back.
It is located near the event we were attending
The distance we had to walk to reach our room on the second floor and to reach elevators. It felt like we walked at least a mile down dreary corridors with poor signage. Once we reached our room it was fine. Even to get ice from a machine that worked was a challenge.
Well, I’ve stayed at this hotel several times before. To be honest, I wasn’t happy about being charged for parking, especially since it wasn’t this way in the past. I really didn’t love that change.
I was staying on the 3rd floor — room 3065 or 3056, I can’t quite remember — and the exit door kept banging constantly. On top of that, there was a family in the hallway with two kids running up and down with a soccer ball.
I found it difficult to relax, especially on a rainy Sunday over Memorial Day weekend, which was really the whole point of the stay.
Breakfast was wonderful here. The staff is informative, polite, and accommodating. Their hospitality skills are top-notch.
This hotel is nice. It's a good location we went from Greenwich to Darian and downtown Stamford (night life). It's a little dated for the price though. Our family stayed nearby at a much better price. Staff was great! Bar is fun at night.
We stay here often but since the renovation I guess it wants to be a club? Banging music all night in the courtyard and all the rooms surround it. Dan at front desk says Delmar is better.
Recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich, and it was a truly disappointing experience. While the woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful, that was really where the positives ended. The room was miserably hot - even with the AC on high, the only place that got even slightly cool was by the couch/window, which made for 2 nights of horrible sleep. The water in the bathroom reeked of sulfur, there was a significant amount of mildew present, and both the toilet and sink ran/dripped nonstop. $25 for self parking is also a joke.
The worst part of this stay, however, had to do with the bar/restaurant in the lobby of the hotel. The gentleman who waited on me (Saul) was so sweet and kind, but Billy (the bartender) was a complete jerk. I had asked Saul if it would be possible to put the Knicks game on one of the 2 televisions, and despite only one of the tvs being used by patrons at the bar, Billy refused to turn the Knicks game on, and openly berated Saul. Billy informed Saul that if I wanted to watch the game, I could move from my table, to the backside of the bar, where there were additional tvs, because he wanted to watch a sports draft. What??!? To make matters even worse, my husband and I got horrendously sick from the turkey sandwich.
I’d never stay at this hotel again, and I would not recommend it to anyone.
Bad wifi, a $25 per day charge for parking and otherwise average experience means this place sucks. Stay somewhere else
