Very disappointing experience. Not even close to normal Hyatt standards
Pros:

Extremely disappointing. We reserved a deluxe corner King room. They gave us an interior noisy dark room and claimed that the deluxe corner rooms are actually interior rooms that are not even a corner.

Not sure if they were lying because they were sold out, or that they are just misleading on the website.

Paying the extra money for the better room was a complete waste.

In addition, they hotel is quite noisy, and the staff is extremely rude

They are much better places to stay in the area

Disappointed this time due to dirty bathroom floor
Pros:

Beautiful hotel and room. I love the decor and it's always very quiet. I stay here a few times per year when in town for business meetings. However, I was disappointed this time with the lack of cleanliness of the bathroom floors and the shower grout.

Scam of a hotel
Pros:

The alarm went off at 6am for both us and the room next to us. We turned our alarm off but there was no one in the room next to us so we heard the alarm for a long time keeping us up. Then there was a $10 charge for water on our bill that we didn't drink. Unacceptable for such a "nice" place. My friends got charged the $10 too. This place is a scam

Great location, friendly staff, could use some improvements
Pros:

The Hyatt in Greenwich is in a great location for visiting the area. It is a much more reasonably priced option when compared with other hotels in Greenwich, and it is in a much better area than the hotels in downtown Stamford. The staff is very personable, and the rooms are well-appointed. The large atrium is a great place to hang out, but for some rooms, it can be a bit noisy in the evenings. Unfortunately, there is no full-service restaurant on site, but they do serve breakfast in the atrium. Room service is basically a take-out scenario. We had a steak dinner (very tasty and well-cooked), delivered in styrofoam take-out containers. It was very odd for a hotel of this type. During our visit, we had to make multiple attempts to have a request fulfilled. There really should be some carpet cleaning in the common areas, but our room was very nice, well-appointed, and kept very clean.

Pros:

Outstanding Hyatt property and the staff went the extra, extra mile to ensure my stay was super comfortable. Hands down one of my best Hyatt experiences!

Mediocre hotel with mediocre staff
Pros:

Average hotel, mediocre staff, dated rooms, noisy lobbies. I had a different opinion about Hyatt and this was nothing close tot hat. Toilet flushes can be heard in the room and voices of the people in the corridor can be heard. Front desk is average at the best. The room layout is weird to say the least

Pros:

the hotel is a beautiful property, it made you feel like your vacation resort. All the staff in this hotel were very friendly, professional. We had a suite room with a 8 month old and a medium sized dog and everything was perfect. Baby crib was requested and in the room already. water complimentary as a discoverist. Microwave was a plus, for heating up baby food. Late check out available. For a fee, The was a Cinema Movie Theatre. Dog friendly area in the middle of the hotel. Ample parking spaces and close to alot of beaches, restaurants, museums and more. Would definitely be back. We are from NJ so traveling more than 2-3 hours with a baby and a dog is too much, it only took us an hour to this hotel.

It was fine.
Pros:

The property was beautiful! And very close to local restaurants and attractions that I wanted to see

Cons:

The AC in the hotel room didn’t work. It was extremely hot. I didn’t sleep comfortably at all due to the heat, and due to the pillows. They were incredibly flat. I also didn’t like that I paid over $30 for 2 pints of ice cream and a cup of hot water so I could make tea…..

Beautiful hotel
Pros:

I stayed at this hotel on a business trip after the hotel our travel agency had booked had storm damage and a power outage. Jair, who checked me in at the front desk, was wonderful! He was very helpful with some questions I had, and really made me feel welcome! After my unexpected travel disruptions earlier in the day, it was great to deal with someone as pleasant and friendly as Jair! The hotel itself was beautiful and comfortable, and I would definitely recommend it.
