Lovely staff, noisy guests
Pros:

Staff member at check in was amazing. Super friendly and helpful. Couldn’t ask for more professional service. Room was large and bed was comfortable.

Cons:

There’s as close to zero sound proofing as motels come. There’s a shared balcony so if anyone on the entire second storey is outside talking or scraping chairs, you hear it all. Similarly, if anyone on either side sneezes or uses their bathroom, you know about it. As is often true of motels, cars park directly in front of rooms so you hear anyone coming or going too. Keycard entry to room involves beeping and the lock talking to you also that that’s added noise.

For the cheap price it would have been acceptable but I lucked out and had a family with screaming, feral kids up until midnight below me and there’s no way any of us above could sleep until they final settled.

I moved to a cabin in a local caravan park for the remainder of my stay.

Based solely on the friendliness of staff, I’d stay here again but it wouldn’t be when I needed sleep which I very much did for this stay.

Ibis Styles feels like our second home!
Pros:

We had a lovely stay at ibis Styles Albany. The room was comfortable, clean and affordable. The service was excellent. A special thank you to Resident Manager Mina for the warm welcome and for making our stay even more enjoyable. We truly appreciated her kindness and assistance. We would definitely stay here again! 😊

Loved it.
Pros:

Basic hotel with everything you need. Nothing fancy. then again within that price point it was value for money!

Cons:

-Better cleaning of rooms is expected.
-There was a water outage at about 10 am on the second day. This was a bit uncalled for. We were not notified in advance and it caught us by surprise while the whole family lined up for a shower.

Love Albany, Ibis was convenient
Pros:

Only dinner, so easy order and take back to room

Cons:

All good but if you were late getting in you may miss out on car park near your room as upstairs and ground level park in the same place.
