Great location, but sleeping was hard!
Pros:

Great location and good breakfast, staff were friendly and Hynda cleaned my room very well

Cons:

The room was soundproof from out side but most of the night people kept on slamming their doors and apart from that just didn’t sleep well. And when I was at breakfast the next morning someone also said they didn’t sleep well so not sure what the issue is!

Location and nice room

Cons:

Dirty kettle was originally in the room which poured black water which was gross. The staff however did immediately replace it when asked.

Pros:

Excellent service from James in the restaurant & bar area he went the extra mile nothing was to much trouble for him made our stay & provided us with information we required during our stay first class ambassador for The Millennium Brand which I have been a member of for over 30 years albeit had to renew my membership a few days before due to a technical issue with my address.
The main areas like the bar & restaurant were very pleasant & nicely decorated our evening meal was also very nice & at a reasonable price comparable to outside in pubs etc the full english breakfast was very good but only couple choices of fruit ham & cheese if you preferred a continental breakfast.

Cons:

The rooms especially the bathrooms need updating & having only fans to keep you cool had to keep windows closed at night & early morning due to traffic noise which was rather uncomfortable due to the heat in the room as no air con in this hotel which for a 4 star Copthorne Hotel was a bit poor tbh.

A comfortable stay at Copthorne Hotel Plymouth
Pros:

I liked the neatness and spacious room, friendly demeanour of the receptionist on duty on my arrival and departure.

Cons:

I didn't like the fact that the toilet wasn't flushing well. Had to repeat it severally to get it done.

Pros:

The food in the restaurant was very good at breakfast & dinner. The restaurant staff were friendly & efficient.

Cons:

Very tired & dated. The bedroom was unbearably hot despite mobile & ceiling fan, the weather was cold & windy so cannot imagine how dreadful it would have been during the recent heatwave. Had booked a club room to ensure a larger bed/longer bed , the bed was a regular double which exacerbated the hot room. Reported to the reception staff that the safe & hair dryer were not working they showed zero interest, we were not complaining simply informing them to put it right for others, do not feel confident issues were taken on board.
