Staf and location are excellent
Pros:

Staff are excellent. They are the reason to stay at this hotel.

Cons:

Services really are inadequate. Room phone did not work, attempted chat feature requesting a pillow exchange (as depicted in the pillow menu) however I ended up having to go to front desk to ask for one. I then preceded to wait an hour before using the bathroom hand towels and my coat as a pillow. Not acceptable. We requested cleaning as we had a trash can full. Didnt happen. Left the next morning at 645am requesting cleaning. Still didnt happen.
If it wasnt for the bar staff or certain reception staff we would have given this hotel a 1 star rating.

It was good but not fantastic
Pros:

We did not have breakfast because they didn’t cater for a gluten free diet even though I informed the hotel prior to visit .

Cons:

The room was small but nicely decorated and the plug in bath was broken. Bath was not draining very well.
Good strength in shower.

Lage und das Frühstück

Cons:

Für einen Preis von 250 € pro Nacht hatten wir deutlich mehr erwartet.
Schon beim Einchecken und Auspacken im Zimmer wurde klar, dass nicht gründlich geputzt worden war: Im Kleiderschrank lagen noch angerauchte Joints, eine benutzte Kondomverpackung und ein fremder Schlüssel. Was Sauberkeit und Hygiene angeht, ist das völlig unzumutbar.
Das Shampoo in der Dusche war von Anfang an leer und wurde während des gesamten Aufenthalts nicht nachgefüllt.
Darüber hinaus war das Zimmer klein, sehr dunkel und die Lärmbelästigung extrem störend: Die Zimmertüren fallen extrem laut ins Schloss und durch das Geräusch von gerückten Stühlen am Morgen war an Ausschlafen nicht zu denken.
Fazit: Einfach viel zu teuer.

Great location and super helpful staff!
Pros:

Very good location and easy access if you want to walk or get public transport. The staff were super helpful and even allowed us to check in at 8am instead of 3pm after an overnight train which was such a massive difference in our trip to Amsterdam. Amenities were very good and we enjoyed the Smart TV, coffee machine and the large space in the room.

Cons:

Could have been a bit cleaner as I noticed it wasn’t as pristine looking as other hotels I have stayed in. There was a bit of a smell in the bathroom but that smell was also a smell we smelt through all of the square outside so I understand that it is not a hotel specific issue but clearly just the vents. We did not get the breakfast as it seemed a bit overpriced for what it was. When you can get a very decent breakfast for 10-20 euros, 25 euros for hotel breakfast with not a heap of options doesn’t seem great.

Very disappointed - my room/booking was supposed to be assigned to NYX instead Leonardo which was not as nice

Location was very central

Cons:

When I completed my booking it was under ownership of Eden Hotels which has since been sold, my booking was assigned to Leonardo as building has now been divided into two but I was advised room/booking would be with NYX which has nicer rooms

Pros:

It was in Rembrandt Square which was close to a lot of restaurants and clubs. It was 20-25 min walking distance from the museums and other tourist spots. There was also a decently priced hotel bar, and the staff was friendly during check in and check out.

Cons:

Our rooms weren’t ready at time of check in, but they were kind and gave us glasses of champagne as we waited.

For the price the hotel is not worth it also to find out it’s being newly revamped i excepted more from the cleanliness
