Great stay. Beds were comfortable, room was clean and cute with a nice balcony overlooking Camelback Mountain. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was good with a nice variety of foods. Would definitely stay here again.

Mostly great experience except for communication one night where our meeting room was disassembled totally unexpected.

Dated, overpriced and dirty.
I trust the Hyatt brand and have enjoyed other locations of Hyatt Place. This was a last minute booking due to an airline delay causing a missed connection. The $300 price tag for a motel 6 experience. The bed was comfortable but the in unit a/c would either blow hot or freezing cold air - the thermostat at the other end of the room not effective. The answer was to provide an additional blanket. The room had 2 beds but only 1 blanket and 1 set of ear plugs. The room layout was nice that it has a sitting area but the bathroom sink was part of the room at the foot of the bed.
The breakfast bar had dirty dishes (I went through several plates to find a clean one. I figured I would try the oatmeal- it was watery and undercooked. The shuttle driver who picked us up (Ryan) at the airport was friendly and helpful. The morning driver seemed put out by helping me load my 40 lb bag into the vehicle. I would not stay here again or recommend it to others. Also - no complimentary bottle of water on check in. That AC unit kept us up most of the night. Apparently the advice is to turn on the heater 🙄

Since it is pretty near at one of my company's headquarters (it was a business trip), it is very convenient. It somewhat noisy due to being close to the Phoenix airport. The breakfast food is pretty good as well as their cleaning service for the rooms. Their staff at the front desk needs to improve when committing to do a service to their guests.

The Hyatt Place Tempe airport exceeded my expectations. The staff was amazing from the minute. I checked in to the drop off at the airport thenext morning. I will definitely be back.

We visited for a quick 7 hour rest between flights. I would not have wanted to stay much longer, and I will not likely return to this property.

The lobby/entry area was crowded and chaotic, as it was during the middle of breakfast service. There were tables crammed in the tiny dining area as well as the tiny lobby area. Very crowded. We decided to skip breakfast, as the offering did not look appealing.

The free airport shuttle was a big pain. We waited at least 30 min at the airport, and ended up having to call to have the hotel to have them send one. I tried to book the shuttle for our return to the airport, but was informed that a large group had booked all the shuttles for a large block of time (several hours), and therefore I was advised to take an Uber to the airport. I ended up paying $20 for this Uber. This was especially disappointing because I called the hotel prior to booking my room, and was informed that the shuttles ran frequently and were regularly available.

The room did not appear very clean, there was visible dust on the phone and on various surfaces, just an overall dingy feeling.

Bed and pillows were not super comfortable.

I do not recommend this property for Globalists, there is not enough Globalist recognition nor benefits.
