Leuke kamer, smaakvol, lekkere douche, heerlijk eten en geweldig personeel. Veel persooonlijke aandacht.
Niets op aan te merken .
The beer garden is beautiful to see the sunset while having a drink. The staff is very kind and helpful.
Accueil chaleureux et chambre spacieuse et très confortable où rien ne manque. Endroit calme. Petit déjeuner très complet et possibilité de dîner raffiné au "pub/restaurant". Tout bien.

Beautiful and comfortable.
We arrived at 6pm on a Sunday only to find out they stopped serving food then, so rather disappointed not to be able to eat there. But other restaurants available a short drive away.
Great village location for visiting Paulton's Park and New Forest. Nice decor, views & comfortable room. Friendly staff / owners.
Not the most sound-proofed walls, however, can't be held accountable for other guests' slamming doors. Lack of opportunity to discretly raise one concern the next morning.
Great village location. Friendly and accommodating staff. Lovely food and restaurant area, again very flexible. Room was good, enjoyed the private outside garden area.
Lovely pub
The couple who run this place are very nice, friendly people; warm characters and in balance formal at the same time. The whole setup of the place (bar, restaurant, biergarten, place for kids to play, rooms etc) is really perfect. Clean, spacious new rooms. A lot of times a singers with guitar player perform at the terrace, they were really good; if you're not into music it's easy to escape from it cos there's places enough to sit. The surroundings are nice nature and the pub/hotel is situated in a small cosy village. The local pub visitors are very nice people too by the way.
The food is good; slightly higher of quality than pub food and very decent proportions. The breakfast (paid) is good.
Plenty of room to park the car; electric charging possible; silent at night.
Indeed a place for a king ;-)
One bonus; I sleep usually ok. Here it was the first time in literally months that I went sleeping and slept in one go; if only I could take the bed with me back home!
Compliments for the owners.
I could really not think of anything unless it is that England didn't make the finals of the football; we did watch the finale and were happy that Spain won and not Argentina....
Very friendly people and lovely new facilities.
There appeared to be absolutely no ventilation system. The French doors out onto a patio were lovely but did not have a window when closed. There did not appear to be a fan or other aeration system. The lovely bathroom had a shaving mirror but there was no hot point for an electric shaver that we could see.
Beautiful accommodation, well presented and spotlessly clean. Owners were very welcoming and attentive. Had an evening meal at The Kings Head which was also first class.

Elegant room and bathroom with a fantastic shower. Clean, spacious and all necessities available. Local store just next door or fantastic food at the pub too!

Fabulous food we had the Sunday Roast 1st night which came with 5 different veg and crispy home made roast potatoes and of course Yorkshire pudding, 2nd night we had chicken skewer with salad, homemade coleslaw and fresh made Chimichurra and delicious well balance Prawn Linguine with chilli kick - we shared the Warm chocolate brownie with toffee sauce and ice cream OMG probably the best we’ve had … !
Added bonus was on site Charging point 👍
