Room had no A/C I called front office went down there , lady said it was alot of peoples air messed up and they would get right on it . Me and family went out to eat come back room is 81. I go back downstairs ask did room get check while we was out for 3 hours. She couldn’t give me answer. They decided to move me and the other room did not have a/c . Kids running around in hallways all night. Breakfast is good tho.
Look elsewhere. As a HH member and fan of the Embassy Suites (I had my wedding reception at one) this was by far the most disappointing stay. We have been traveling and staying in Hilton hotels for the past 6 days with wonderful experiences and here we are at this extremely unkept hotel. Stains and broken cabinets completely unacceptable. I was able to clean most of the stains in minutes with a Clorox wipe. Why am I paying to be here?!?
Shanna was our bartender and she was great. Very attentive and personable!
Nothing
Everything
Drove all day and looking forward to resting before going to Kings Dominion. We get in late, much too late to go to another hotel with two tired and cranky kids.
This place is dark, sad, and filthy. I saw some reviews of a "refresh" underway and I sincerely hope our room is not considered "refreshed". Because if it is... Good god!
Our room (516) hasn't seen a vacuum cleaner in weeks, probably months. Found a drywall screw on the floor ready to be stepped on. Crumbs and other crap not only in corners but right in the middle of the walkway of the room where one would think a vacuum would clean.
The laminate floor in the front room is so horribly scratched, but whatever. Not a big deal. However every step you take is "sticky". Ugh, disgusting.
The bathroom is so tiny only one person can be in there at a time, let alone bathe a toddler and someone else try and open the door.
The caulking around all three walls of the tub is severely deteriorated or just gone.
And makeup powder (god I hope it's makeup powder) on the floor under the desk.
This place is the opposite of relaxing. I'll be cutting my stay to just one night.
Great experience love to come back
The hostess was very polite and very welcoming.
Lisa was awesome! Watching and waiting to help everyone.
Excellent service. Look guests to coming again
It was peaceful and clean and respectful
Lisa was so attentive and considerate. She is awesome! Best customer service ever!
Beautiful place. Breakfast was good. Shower a little on the small side. AC malfunction. Breakfast was delicious. Lisa was kind, helpful, attentive with a smile! Would definitely stay again.
We had a wonderful stay at the Embassy Suites while celebrating our 23rd anniversary. As Diamond guests, this was our first time staying at an Embassy Suites because we are from the United Kingdom and Embassy Suites hotels are only in the USA.
The receptionist, Tesha, was very friendly and welcoming. She explained all the hotel facilities clearly and kindly upgraded us to a lovely suite.
The hotel location was very convenient, with many restaurants nearby and a petrol station just one block away, which was helpful before driving to our next destination.
The breakfast was excellent, with both a buffet and freshly cooked breakfast included. We also enjoyed the evening reception with two complimentary drinks per guest, discounted drinks available from 5:30pm–7:00pm, and à la carte food options. It was very relaxing to enjoy drinks at the hotel after a long day.
The service throughout our stay was excellent. Special thanks to Jason Guidry for arranging beautiful flowers and amenities for our anniversary, which made our celebration truly memorable.
Thank you to the entire team for such a lovely experience!
Taylor the server was a breath of fresh air.
I had to switch my room each day to uncleanliness
Typically nice public spaces. Rooms due for renovation. TLDR.
The free breakfast and happy hour drinks remain on par for an Embassy Suites.
Staff is a mix of friendly and clock watching.
The room (802) was way past its prime (e.g., (1) leaky bathroom faucet, (2) bathroom room door seriously warped requiring a firm push to close, (3) a dresser drawer needing a lot of muscle to open, (4) closet doors misaligned by at least an inch, (5) lumpy sofa bed cushions, (6) mini fridge was too big for the cabinet door to close, (7) bedroom TV mount would not stay in your adjusted position and flop downward), (8) A/C worked well, but heater was struggling to warm up the suite (one degree in 2 hours).
The mattress was okay, not great, for a decent night’s sleep.
Chaise portion of the sofa was very good.
Quoting another guest in a jumpy elevator, “every time we stay here there’s at least one thing broken.”
My stay at the Embassy Suites was a traveler's dream. The room was comfortable, luxurious, and clean. In addition, the breakfast experience was sublime: the food was plentiful, varied, and delicious, and the staff was courteous, friendly, and attentive. I would recommend Embassy Suites to everyone; you will not be disappointed.
Just about everything.
Hallways elevators and Floors could have been cleaner.
Everything. Comfy, convient and the balcony was a plus!!!
Everything was good
