Fantastico
Tutto perfetto
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful whenever we had a question or needed any assistance.
The cleanliness of the restrooms in our room could’ve been a lot better.
Kayl was awesome she accommodated us and was very helpful and a great human being.
From the second you get out of your car and are greeted bay valet you can tell this place is special. The bell hop did not miss a beat getting our stuff out of the truck before we noticed he started. The destination fee un locked free drinks, kayak rides a family boat tour of the harbor and more for only 25 bucks a day. The concierge knew all there was to k ow about the area. The most amazing part of the hotel stay for my family was the impeccable work ethic of Brianna at the front desk. Her infectious smile and undeniable desire to help ensure our stay was perfect was unmatched. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We will definitely be back this year for a show at the Balboa theater only a few hundred feet from hotel.
Staff was pleasant and helpful.
Cost. I thought it was expensive.
Check in was smooth and the staff was friendly, which always makes things easy right off the bat.
The location is really the highlight here. You’re right in the middle of the Gaslamp area with tons of dining options around you, and it’s very walkable to just about anything you’d want to do. If you like being able to step out and explore without needing a car, this is a great spot.
The rooms were fine. Nothing over the top or memorable, but they were clean and exactly what you’d expect from a Westin. Comfortable and reliable, just not anything that stands out.
Overall, it’s a good choice if location is your priority. Easy, convenient stay with everything you need nearby.
El estacionamiento fue carísimo, 60 dólares el día. No vale la pena y es mejor buscar un estacionamiento cercano.
I would like to highly commend Marjorie who assisted me at the front desk beyond the call of duty. I was on a tight schedule preparing for a trial. She helped me with printing documents and had them delivered to my room. Thanks to her assistance and the bell hop men i was able to be prepared and arrive to court on a timely basis. Thank you'
Just don’t stay here. It’s a sleazy crash pad for the drunken and otherwise incapacitated. If it wasn’t the hookers in the lobby, the 4 AM party down the hall, or the circa 1992 decor, then the dank smell in the room is all that was needed to force us to flee the premises to another hotel. It’s really hard to believe that the Marriott would allow this facility to exist. Don’t get me started on the $68 per night to park the car. The saving grace is that the woman at the front desk was understanding, apologetic, and accommodating.
I came to this hotel for a business trip and for running the rock and roll half marathon. I’m actually still at the hotel but I felt inclined to leave a positive review.
I came in on an early flight to come to San Diego. The hotel itself had a very nice lobby and bar area. Back in its hay day I bet it’d be nice to be so close to Horton’s Plaza. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The location is close to the gaslamp and is walkable throughout downtown.
I didn’t expect to get a room and I figured I’d have to check in my bags, but they were able to fit me into a room. Needless to say there were some issues with the room. I went downstairs and they immediately moved me to another room. After that I haven’t had any issues. In fact, the beds are really really comfy.
There is a $25 fee but you get 2 drink coupons for wine or craft beer. You. An also get bicycle rentals and a cruise (1 per stay).
All and all, a decent property, great staff, and really nice beds. If you’re looking to be close to the action, I would highly recommend it.
The property was in a prime location
There was nothing that I did not like
This is a very nice hotel in a relatively quiet area , rooms are a good size tv channels a bit limited for the usa
very good shower you do have to pay a resort fee but you get loads of extras included with it
if you are taking advantage of the free river cruise you can just exchange the voucher at the pier rather than ringing up
there is also a good onsite resturant
Was an excellent location within walking distance of many restaurants. Mostly writing a review for the most incredible waiter, Rueben. He by far exceeded my expectations, always made sure we were taken care of, he was very attentive and paid attention to the smallest details such as what I drink in the mornings. I hope this review reaches the right people and Rueben gets a raise or some sort of compensation for his excellent services. Gonna miss him 😊
