The onsite restaurant was amazing. Isabel served me and was great with details. Kept checking on me and even held a conversation with my daughter. I think young adults are amazing and very focused while they are working or serving others. Well done young lady and keep being you. Your amazing.
Most of the staff was very welcoming and very accommodating. I enjoyed that they had fresh fruit available every day. The pool was very nice and clean. I also found the business center very useful.
Sean is the absolute best at recommendations on what to do in Richmond and makes you feel so welcomed.
My wife and I had a great weekend stay at the Omni Richmond. Our room on the ninth floor was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I often have a hard time sleeping in hotels, but slept like a baby in our quiet room. Aaron with the courtesy van was great; he took us to Maymont Park and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. Valet parking, bellman, and front desk were also terrific. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and Stuart, our waiter, gave us great tips on places worth visiting in the city.
The only fly in the ointment of our stay was that three of four elevators were non-operational. Long waits and crowded spaces. As others have commented the delays can be a tad inconvenient. Still, everyone managed just fine. We appreciated the wonderful staff and all the nice extras available at the Omni.

I wish there was a 4.5 option because overall it was a pretty good stay. Front desk was friendly and efficient during check-in and check-out.
The rooms felt a little dated and dingy. The need some basic fresh paint and recaulking. The elevator not always working was odd. We weren't really in our rooms but to sleep and shower for the next day so these things weren't that big of deal but not something I expected at an Omni.
Really the star of that property is Sean. From the moment we pulled up to the valet, he was upbeat, friendly and took our stuff up to our room. He gave us great scoop on restaurants and the complimentary shuttle. We didn't know about the shuttle, so that was a great bonus! The thing impressed me the most was that we felt like his favorite guests right out the gate but I also watched him do that same thing with every guest while we were waiting for the car or in the lobby. You just don't see this level of hospitality anymore. Sean was refreshing. Give that man a raise.
Came down here with my husband for two nights as a halfway stop to Naples from Newark. Upon arrival, the valet were very friendly and prompt, but the music was distractingly loud. This would prove to be a problem later in the evening when I was waiting for my car outside, and it made for a disorienting experience among the commotion to where my party couldn’t hear each other without raising our voices beyond comfort.
Our rooms were clean, quiet, and fully stocked on towels and shampoo, the like. One of the staff members gave us a good recommendation for a trail to walk on in Belle Isle, and it was a lovely time. Room service was prompt and thorough. The restaurant in the hotel I found to be too expensive for the rather bland flavor palette it contained, but honestly I’ve come to expect that from just about every chain hotel nowadays. Gone are the days I suppose… Checkout was hectic and disorienting, but we made it.
Overall, I believed this hotel to be slightly higher in price than the experience offered, and the highlights of our time in Richmond were the time we spent outside of the hotel, but it wasn’t abysmal. Admittedly, we looked around for other hotels in other cities to stay at once we made our trip back. Perhaps I’ll give this place another chance down the line, but the experience did not beckon for my return.
The Omni Hotel was an excellent location for our team to meet while visiting one of our clients' new facilities. The property offers a convenient and well-appointed main floor with a variety of breakfast options available on-site, eliminating the need to leave the hotel.
The guest rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff provided exceptional service throughout our stay. The hotel was notably clean, quiet, and relaxing, offering excellent value for the quality of accommodations and amenities provided.
Additionally, the hotel's location is ideal. Directly across the street is The Tobacco Company, which proved to be one of the finest dining experiences in downtown Richmond. The restaurant offers outstanding food and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a highly recommended destination for both business and leisure travelers.
Most elevators out of service, and valet service that is understaffed/overwhelmed. For the money paid, the quality isn't there.
If you are going to this hotel call and make sure they have more than one working elevator for this huge hotel. I would not expect a straight answer. If you have to stay here, ask before you check in and get a 16th floor room.
1 of 4 elevators worked. It was very difficult to get to room and out of the hotel. We were late for a wedding due to length of time it took to get an elevator. The staff at the front desk were rude when asked about the lack of elevators working.
Marshall in the Tavern Restaurant Bar was perfect! Stayed attentive without hovering or interrupting. Super polite and helpful!!
Conveniently placed for what we wanted to do
We were meant to check in at 4pm. By 6.30pm we had a room, but not the one we had booked, a downgrade with 100 dollars off. Not really good enough. And room wasn’t cleaned so spent 4 days with a full bin
Overall stay was wonderful. I have to compliment their shuttle service, which saved us a lot of time and money. since we were in town for an event at the convention center. Sean in guest services and who drove the shuttle was the friendliest and best. It's a very nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay.
