My family and I traveled to Europe on a 10 day vacation. I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Hotel Paris Opéra Affiliated by Meliá.

The room was not properly maintained. The bed advertised as a king bed was actually two twin mattresses pushed together without any mattress bridge or wedge to create a seamless sleeping surface. This resulted in an uncomfortable gap down the middle, making it feel like sleeping in two separate beds rather than a king-size bed.
Cleanliness was also a major concern. The bed sheets were dirty upon arrival, and the bathroom was in poor condition, with visible rust, water damage, and an overall lack of upkeep. To make matters worse, there was a persistent drainage odor coming from the bathroom that made the room unpleasant.
The air conditioning was ineffective and did not adequately cool the room, making it uncomfortable, especially since the temperature in Paris was in the 90's during our stay. The hallways were equally disappointing, with old, worn, and dirty carpeting that gave the hotel a dated and neglected appearance.
For a hotel affiliated with the Meliá brand, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness, maintenance, and guest comfort. Unfortunately, this property fell well below expectations, and I would not choose to stay here again.

The front desk workers were very pleasant, nice, and helpful. It's a nice quirky hotel right on Montmartre Blvd. One of four Grand Boulevard station entrances is right outside. The other stations are about half a block away which isn't bad. Very clean. Our hotel room faced Montmartre Blvd, party central until 400am but we were so tired it wasn't a big deal. The only downside was the hotel decided not to put the AC/heat on until the summer. Well in May we had four days of 28C (88F) and above for the four days we were there. The room was stuffy. Other than that nice hotel, and located to get around the city easy.

We enjoyed our stay! It was great to have breakfast included daily with ample time and attentive, polite service. Central location within walking distance of many good restaurants, sites and transportation options. Alvaro and Monica were especially helpful and kind at the front desk. The standout member of the staff was Ishara, one of the concierge staff. He was genuinely interested in what we were wanting to do and offered great advice on helping us get to Roland Garros, the main event for our trip! He is a gem!! Merci Beau coup to all!! Au revoir!! Wir hatten ein größeres Zimmer, eine Suite, die den Schlaf und den Sitzbereich getrennt hatte und auch das Bad und die Toilette, was ich angenehm empfand. Eine U-Bahnlinie ist direkt vor dem Haus, je nach Laufgeschwindigkeit ist man aber auch in 10-15 Minuten sowohl an den Galeries Lafayette oder dem Louvre. Das Frühstück ist variantenreich, liebevoll hergerichtet, qualitativ hochwertig. Das Personal an der Rezeption war immer zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Nos encantó la estancia en todos los aspectos. El personal muy atento y extremadamente amable en todo momento. La habitación estaba muy bien y muy limpia, y la ubicación es ideal, muy céntrica y enfrente de una boca de metro. Lo recomiento sin duda. Aprovecho para dar la enhorabuena a todo el personal, se nota cuando hay gente con dedicación.

Hotel Paris Ópera was a delightful place to stay in the heart of the city. The location was wonderful and the room clean and spacious. The staff were always happy to help and Ishara especially went above and beyond several times to help us. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will return here myself if I am lucky enough to be in Paris again in the future.

This is my second stay here! Hotel staff are tentative to their guest. Concierge Ishara is what brought me back for a second stay. He is an absolute gem to the hotel. Always with a smile great to great you and always ready to help.
The staff made sure my room was always to my liking.
Clean rooms slightly noisy if you have a street window but if you are a NYC girl like me you can sleep right through it! There are other rooms I just chose to stay where I was.

Location is great,
Hotel overall is clean and beautiful but the noise coming from the pub downstairs was unbearable

First visit to Paris for us, we had the most wonderful three days spent mostly sight seeing we saw many beautiful treasures and was assisted by a terrific consiege Ishara who was warm and most helpful in planning our stay. We love Paris

All the staff were friendly and helpful.
Ishara, in particular, went above and beyond!! That Gentleman is a credit to Hotel Paris Opera!!
He always made himself available to us and answered all our questions. He has a very extensive knowledge of the local area and all the landmarks. He suggested restaurants and places to visit.
He helped me book a lovely nighttime dinner cruise along the Seine
He cared about our comfort in the hotel and was very genuine and friendly.
We appreciated that he actually farewelled us when we left Paris. Thank you

The service, from all employees, was excellent. Everyone, specially Ishara and Monica, exceeded their regular duties, while showing always a smile and willingness to help, beyond all expectations.

Good central location, but awful hotel room. Room had a bad drain smell and there was duck tape around the drainage pipes to the toilet, which means it must have been on ongoing problem. It was very noisy due to air conditioning vents outside the room on the 6 floor. Room was tiny with tired furnishings, no armchair, small double bed and a wall mounted TV that was jutting half way across the bathroom door. Bathroom and bedroom floor levels were different and a real trip hazard. Room was generally shabby, with a very small wardrobe located in a tiny entrance area which necessitated holding open a heavy fire door to get to the wardrobe with 7 hangers! Very odd arrangement! The shower unit was grubby and there was nowhere to rest toiletries or soap when in the shower. The two very small lifts were rickety and very slow. They could not hold more than two people, or one person with a suitcase! We asked to see other rooms, as our room on the top floor (room 606) was not at all nice and generally shabby and small apart from the hazards. We were shown 3 others which were even worse! If we wanted a nicer room we would have to pay an extra€50/night for one! This really is not a 4* hotel as stated on the front of the hotel. The only good thing bout it was the location for visiting many Paris sites.
