The staff are very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable .
The only down side is the room is smaller and there really isn’t any closet space.
The hotel is fine overall, except that it shows its age, at least in the room and bathroom where we stayed. We had booked a deluxe room with a king-size bed, and the bed was large, but the room didn't feel luxurious at all. The bathroom was small, with almost no space to put anything around the sink. The shower was old, but it worked fine.
What happened—and this is entirely the hotel's fault—is that they placed a $100 hold on my credit card, telling us it was in case we had any expenses at the hotel. The truth is, we didn't have any expenses; we didn't have breakfast or use any of the hotel's amenities. However, at check-out, they initially told us they were going to charge us almost the full amount for something we didn't understand. When we collected our luggage, I complained again, and they told me they were going to charge us more than $50 and would refund the rest. In the end, they charged us $58.70 without any justification. When we made the reservation, we had already paid the room rate, taxes, and the $25 per night resort fee ($50). Since we were charged twice, I request a refund of the amount charged incorrectly. I ask that you return the $58.70 that you have pocketed without any justification.
Great location and friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Parking was just as expected in the city. No issues
Parking but turned out ok
Room was small but clean and perfectly fine.
No negatives.
Everything was great.
Minor thing: Hair dryer didn't work
Comfortable and quiet. Great location, and around the corner from a red line station. Friendly, accommodating staff.
Some carpet stains. The shower doors are awkwardly placed: We stayed in 2 rooms during our stay; in one room the shower door opened on the side opposite of the faucet so you had to get wet to turn on the shower; in the other, the door opened inward under the faucet so the outside of the door got wet when turning on the shower.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was awesome. Lovely hang out space downstairs and s lovely room with a city view
The place was beautiful, the bartender was beautiful. It was my first time being in the city and I liked the location.
Since it's my first time being in Chicago I didn't know about scumming hidden fees they add to the bill.. so if you're interested in staying there. They will charge you an extra 25 dollar destination fee because that makes sense. I have never seen a longer list of hidden fees. It's so scumming.
The location was great and the room was comfortable. The staff were very helpful.
The room had a musty smell. It was serviced every 2nd day which was fine but the water bottles were not topped up on the in between day. Parking next door was ridiculously expensive. I found a lot that charged for 3 days (with in and out) for the same price as one 24 hour, a few blocks away.
