Close to Fort Sam Houston, reason for booking. Had a King suite; liked the price for layout
everything was out dated, remotes to both tvs didnt work, every other channel was audio only, returned to room next day, no housekeeping, room 116 located by outside door that constantly was slammed shut making walls and door shake in room. Door and lock didnt feel secure and safe. Pool was open then closed for maintenance during entire stay with nothing done to pool, small black bugs on everything and the access took me on the backside that didn't feel the safest.
Breakfast was not great but adequate for the price I paid.
Checked in late after a long trip, and the front desk handled it seamlessly. The outdoor swimming pool was clean, although we did hear some noise from nearby rooms at night. Breakfast was decent. Overall, a pleasant visit, with a few little issues, but nothing major.
Clean, courteous service nice place and equally nice hosts.

Not much to like. Other than it was a place to sleep.
Staff was not helpful and acted as if I was a burden upon check in. Front desk lady would not tell me where my room was when I asked. Most of the lights did not work and there were multiple holes in the walls.

For breakfast, it was okay coffee machine on both days was not working correctly. I even heard one of the other visitors telling the clerk.Tell the owner to buy a new coffee machine.
Nobody was really cleaning up or refiling the food we had to keep getting up and going to the front desk and waiting for the Receptionist or the front desk clerk to come back and fix whatever issues we had with the breakfast
if I had known we could hear the train at night, I wouldn't have booked there.
There was a light in the room if we turned it on.It kept flickering off and on , so of course , once we saw that we never turned it back on , we were scared , it would Short out

It was dirty and the staff wasn’t helpful. I had an emergency and left a day early and didn’t receive at least a prorated return payment.

Up on arrival beds were dirty, changed room, this room was even worse, asked to cancel employee was mocking me. It was horrible, multiple people trying to cancel that night.

The bed was nice and firm .
It was dirty. There was old coffee wasted near the sink. There were cracked tiles and ashes near the night stand of a no smoking room. There were wasp in the hallways and stains all over the couch . I met one maid that actually talked to us and apologized but heck the tv didn’t even work .
Good location. Near JBSH. Easy drive to SAT.. Good air conditioning indide the room.
Hotel needed maintanence. Dirty. Staff not helpful. Freezer needed defrosting, while fridge never cold enough. Had to purchase an ice chest. Toilet flush mechanism broken.
