Was very happy to stay here.
Pros:

Location was ideal but the staff was amazing! Very accommodating, polite and helpful.

The hotel is at the heart of the city. Our room was spacious and clean. The gym had a variety of equipment. The breakfast was good.

Its a very old hotel. The bathroom and sink were clogged with hair, my TV didnt work and the bed was very warped and noisy.

Pros:

Hôtel idéalement placé en centre ville proche de tout.
Le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet était très bien et copieux.
La chambre était spacieuse.
Le personnel était très à l'écoute et a répondu très rapidement à nos demande.

Cons:

Nous avions un chambre avec terrasse et cette dernière n'avait pas été nettoyé.
Certaines prises électrique ne fonctionnaient pas correctement et certaines lumières étaient défectueuses.
La moquette au sol était un peu défraîchie et présentait des ondulations.

Terrible Front Desk Service + Terrible upkeep
Pros:

This hotel is terrible. I am a loyal Marriott customer for over thirty years, and, without a doubt, this one has the worst front desk service I’ve ever encountered. The staff lacks training, has an attitude, and is frankly, useless.

We got a room that is smelly, and wasn’t properly cleaned. I am attaching picture of the balcony, for everyone to see. I have never seen this in a Marriott property!

The room is also very noisy, next to the elevators with a deafening sound when the elevator moves.

This is, without a doubt, one of the worst Marriott hotels in the Western Hemisphere!

Pros:

Stayed one night at the hotel, which is conveniently located near the city center. Upon check-in, the elevators were out of service, requiring use of the service elevator to reach the 20th floor, which involved long waits and no air conditioning.

There is a lounge, but it was unattended and offered only cookies, water, coffee, and soft drinks.

I had breakfast at the second-floor restaurant; the croissant was not fresh, and the fruit appeared spoiled. My wife and I both experienced stomach upset afterward. I reported this to the front desk, but there was no follow-up.

Overall, it was not a good experience.

Lindo hotel. Estéticamente lindo y cómoda cama.

El personal todo el tiempo te reclama la propina. Si le dejas menos de lo que esperan se molestan y te preguntan porque, si fue tan mala la atención.
Desayuno buffet podes pagarlo pero realmente es muy pobre, ofrece muy poca variedad.
El restaurante es bueno y muy lindo, lástima el personal
Tuve la experiencia q eran 44 Cad y el mozo en el ticket con lapicera me escribió que debía pagar 60 CaD .
No volvería.
La ubicación no es del todo buena, a old Montreal debes caminar bastante y por la zona no hay lindos restaurantes

Fantastic staff!
Pros:

Location:
Not sure if this is part of the business district, but there's mostly high-rise building in this area. It is however, a short walking distance to the shopping and dining of downtown Montreal.

Parking for oversized cars:
Getting upgraded to a full-size SUV was exciting until we realized how challenging the parking situation is in downtown Montreal is because of the clearance. Snir at the front desk was downright commendable though. He didn't just give instructions from the desk. He actually stepped out and gave my husband instructions on how to park in the building.

Food:
Breakfast buffet served a good variety. Hugo, bless his heart, made it his mission to ensure that the person in our party who has multiple allergies can dine worry-free.

The room:
The Deluxe Guest room, even with 2 queen beds, and the bathroom, are spacious. Balcony furniture is available upon request. Overall, the room could use a refurbishment though - from the carpet buckling to some damage in the woodwork in the bathroom, to the shower with the detachable shower head.
