Our Worst Hotel Experience
Pros:

Our stay was extremely disappointing, not only because of the poor service we received, but because of the complete lack of accountability afterward.

Before leaving for the day, we informed housekeeping that our room could be cleaned. We returned in the evening to find it had not been serviced. When we politely raised the issue at the front desk, the staff member named Stephanie rolled her eyes at us, and while we were speaking with the manager, Stephanie raised her voice at us in front of other guests. We remained calm and respectful throughout the entire interaction, yet the manager did nothing to address her employee’s behavior or offer a reasonable solution.

What made the experience even more shocking was the manager’s (Donna) comment that “it doesn’t matter if you’re Diamond for Life.” After spending thousands of dollars and years of loyalty with this brand, hearing that was incredibly disrespectful and made it clear that loyal guests are not valued.

To make matters worse, we emailed management after our stay. More than a week later, we still haven’t received a response,
not even an acknowledgment. That level of customer service is simply unacceptable.

The housekeeping failure was frustrating, but the disrespectful treatment and the complete lack of follow-up from management were far more disappointing. We expected professionalism and basic courtesy and received neither.

Unfortunately, based on our experience, we cannot recommend this hotel and will not be returning.

Nice hotel, but room for improvement.
Pros:

Big hotel, modern. Clean

Cons:

Beds were set up so that the air blew directly on you all night. 19° was too cold, 20 was too hot.
Night stand plug didn’t work. Layout of the room was awkward.
I booked a room for 3. My 75yr old mother arrived before me. Even though I paid online using my credit card, they made her wait in the lobby for 40 minutes because they needed $50 for security deposit. My mother had cash but they don’t accept cash. They physically wanted my card for the deposit despite speaking to me via phone call confirming she would be staying with me.
Lastly, the restaurant/bar closed at 9. There’s no fast food, convenience stores or any other place to purchase food/drink in the immediate area.

Room had hair on the sink and countertop when we got there.

Cons:

Breakfast was $28 extra for the buffett. It was not worth that much money. The buffett was horrible, only good thing about it was the apple juice. My hotel room was expensive and having to pay extra for the breakfast is ridiculous

Pros:

Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer in den oberen Etagen mit blick Richtung Wasser. Das Zimmer war komfortabel eingerichtet und gross.
Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Metro, wodurch man sehr gut ohne Auto durch die Stadt kommt.
