Mixed feelings about this large busy hotel in downtown Toronto
Pros:

Pros This hotel has a good location in the middle of Toronto, many areas of interest are within walking distance.
The pool and playroom were nice and although it was crowded our 9 year enjoyed the slide. The baby enjoyed the playroom which was a peaceful and nicely decorated space. Parking is convenient.
Cons The lobby is a disaster there are hordes or people wandering around at all hours, there are no places to sit and it is very loud. For the size of the hotel the lobby is very small and there are way too many people at any given time. It feels like your just a number because of the size and there is little personal attention to speak of although the cleaning staff is friendly.
The room is on the smaller side and the decor could use some updating. The beds were comfortable though and we slept well.

Excellent place to stay!
Pros:

Stayed here for three nights on a recent trip to Toronto. For an older hotel it is very clean and many parts of the hotel have been modernized. The service was excellent from check-in to departure. There's a nice restaurant/lounge with live music, great options for breakfast and the hotel is conveniently located for getting around.

Stayed here prior to an appointment at Sunnybrook. Overall hotel is a great choice. This hotel works with Staywell and provides discounts for travellers needing medical care at local hospitals.

First time but not the LAST!
Pros:

This hotel was PERFECT! The location, convenience, staff, accommodations were excellent! The room was perfect. The bathroom was a great size, we had two beds in our suite and it was perfect. The view was great. The housekeeping service staff were great. I loved this hotel! 24 hour market, grocery store, Ikea and pizza shop all outside the front door. And we walked to Eaton Mall every day. I look forward to returning.

Good location but very dated on some floors
Pros:

We stayed at this hotel because of the downtown location and the kids pool turned out to be good also. The floor we were on was very dated, pull out bed was horrendous and street noise was extremely loud due to poor window seals.
Most likely wouldn’t recommend this hotel since the location was the only thing it had going for it in our opinion.

I think you need to sort something’s out.

The service at the restaurants isn’t good enough and it takes too long time whenever you order something.

The lobby is not a good place to visit. There is too many people all the time and we think many off theme does not belong to the hotel.

Goede locatie, erg duur voor de bedden en het comfort dat je op de kamer krijgt.
Pros:

De ligging van het hotel op loopafstand van alle Toronto highlights, en de faciliteiten voor kinderen (zwembad, gameroom)

Cons:

Erg smalle bedden voor de gemiddelde volwassene, zeker wanneer dit als 4 persoonskamer verkocht wordt. Daarnaast was de douche in de ochtend een loterij of je warm water warm bleef.
