My daughter and I had a wonderful stay for 4 nights. We weren't far from many of the attractions we wanted to visit, taxi was around $9 -$15 for our daily ride into Rome central. The front desk had a very nice gentleman who was very willing to give us some suggestions of local restaurants in this non tourist area, a great location to to eat the local non tourist foods. Water pressure was amazing ans always had hot water. The breakfast that was included was nice with a variety of choices. Our rooms were clean and the bed was comfy. I would definitely stay here again. oh and one of the best gelato in Italy is located right around the corner.
elevators were very small and hot.
Tagterrassen var virkelig hyggelig.
The team (staff) were helpful and friendly
just the position was a bit far out of the centre so it was 30 mins walk
Great location, really friendly staff , comfortable beds and amazing roof terrace restaurant.
The room was confortable, but all the staff, specially reception were AMAZIN!!!! All of them... During breafast I didn't interact too much with the staff, but the few times I had to ask something, they were really polite e nice with me!!! The best hotel during our eurotrip
nothing
WOW a gorgeous hotel in a prime location. Walking to Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. The quality of the rooms and service was fantastic. The rooftop garden is a beautiful place to have dinner. The staff was warm and welcoming.
So..nothing wrong with the staff or reception area however after booking this as a real special occasion 25 years wedding anniversary I asked for an upgrade prior to arriving...no upgrade available..our room was depressing and so small. It was dark and real squeeze for 2 adults. So I left a review after receiving an email on our first night asking to review our visit so far.I was honest and said the above. We were offered an upgrade the following morning and asked to pay 100euros. We did pay and move but felt very hard done by. Also we booked a meal at the rooftop restaurant (very nice) but after a conversation with the waiter about it being our anniversary still no recognition not even the offer of taking a photo. I am disappointed as on the flight the Jet2 brochure had a holiday review in if from a couple who were on their anniversary and how the hotel made it really special ... obviously our faces didn't fit.
Decent hotel (fairly good location) but calling it 4 star is a little ambitious. Rooms were clean but dated, shower cubicle was tiny + Wi-Fi hit & miss. There were also no coffee making or ironing facilities in room, which seemed out of place for a 4 star hotel. Front of house staff were ok but the woman wanted to push the tourist hop on/off bus service on us from the moment we arrived - which we were not comfortable with (and was very expensive!). We enjoyed the breakfast on the 7th floor (+ nice views from rooftop bar area) and plenty of choices to suit most tastes. Not the worst hotel we've stayed in but maybe we expected a bit more.
Friendly and attentive staff.
Lovely rooftop terrace, with great views of the City
My friend and I booked our Jet2 city break to Rome a little while ago. We chose the Marcella because of the rooftop garden and the views and we weren’t disappointed.
Reception was really busy on arrival as there were quite a few people checking in. We were asked to have seat and wait,
We were given room 422, and had a side view of the street the room was lovely, no problems with the shower or water, I’d emailed ahead before our trip to check what facilities were in the room and were kindly given a kettle to use for our stay, after we’d unpacked and freshened up we went up to the rooftop, the views were beautiful. We headed out the Trevi Fountain and then the Spanish steps, which were about a 20 minute walk away.
The buffet for breakfast was really nice with plenty of choice and a great selection of gluten free items.
Every member of staff we met during our stay were very helpful and friendly,
Our only gripe was the wi-fi wasn’t the best, but I’d definitely stay again.
Staff at front desk and bellman were absolutely wonderful!! Location is incredible the hotel is wonderful.
The only thing we didn't like was the breakfast. The food quality was very poor and the espresso was horrible. Not at all like the coffee shop just a few doors down. The waiters for dinner were not very good. Very slow we sat for over 30 minutes just to get noticed and a glass of wine.
We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for three nights during our two-week stay in Europe. First of all, the staff was exceptional, providing us with the best service and making excellent dinner recommendations. The atmosphere itself was also peaceful and we liked the fact that the hotel wasn’t far from the train station.
However, this was our first time going to Europe and we used a travel agency to book all of the hotels. If I had done more research on my own, I probably would have picked a hotel closer to the tourists. This hotel was a little far from the main attractions and it was uphill. This is my fault and obviously not the hotel’s fault. Otherwise, we loved this hotel.
We stayed for three nights, and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. My wife and I are on our honeymoon and we landed very early and were not able to get into our room. We waited only a few minutes as they rushed to get our room ready. Exceptional service, very hospitable. The rooftop garden is beautiful and has views of the whole city, including St. Peter’s basilica. The rooms were beautiful.
