Visit this hotel for our honeymoon, not that expensive for a 4 star hotel. It was the perfect place for us. Its within 20 mins walk to alot of the main places in Rome. Being that little further out the centre it was quiet at night, even though there is some lovely restaurants nearby. We had a prestige room which was amazing. Clean, bed comfy and bathroom spotless. The rooftop bar is the perfect way to end a busy day. Lovely atmosphere, food is lovely and staff excellent. Breakfast has its own room at the top where you are able to enjoy the views while having a lovely breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Totally recommend and will be coming back when we visit Rome again. Thank you

I’ve never had a shower next to my bed before. The plastic “floor covering” felt unusual to my feet, the flashing moving light was annoying all night long. Otherwise, the place is neat and clean and the staff was excellent. The breakfast buffet had so much to offer and was delicious.

This hotel was reserved as part of a surprise 40th birthday celebration in Rome. The entire experience, from arrival to departure, was exceptional. The facilities and the front-of-house staff were truly outstanding. We eagerly anticipate our return.

Lovely decor and rooftop terrace with bar. Comfortable clean room and helpful pleasant staff. Only stayed one night in Rome after a cruise but found the hotel to be a very nice place before flying home.

Location

On arrival hotel looked very nice from the outside, on entering beautiful inside. Staff welcomed us immediately and took out bags, invited us to take a seat while they got our details, checked us in very quickly and were very friendly and inviting. Everything was explained very well. Lift access to all floors was great. The rooftop bar and restaurant was lovely, clean and inviting with shaded areas blowing mist to cool off which was a great touch and even a few sun loungers. Our room was exceptionally clean, light and modern, shutters on the windows, air con all great. In a great location with lovely bars and restaurants within walking distance. There was even a nail bar a few doors down and hairdressers across the road if you wanted a pamper whilst there! We recommend La Botegga restaurant a few doors down as it was amazing, the food was stunning! The food at the hotel equally was very nice. It is a 15 min walk down to the Trevi, then maybe another 20 mins on top of that to the colosseum/palatine hill so very close to everything you need. One thing I strongly advise is use the ITtaxis which the hotel book for you. They are the most reasonable around and you can use their app and also pay by card if preferred. If they aren’t the ITtaxis I would strongly advise against using them as they charged 4x as much.
When we come back Rome, we will be visiting this hotel again for sure! Beautiful!

A lovely hotel not too close to the crowded tourist area but near enough to visit. The reception staff were excellent and coped exceptionally well with the demands of the guests.

I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The reception area is beautifully decorated and the rooms are clean and comfortable, as expected.
Upon arrival we were greeted by the concierge/receptionist who took the time to provide us with a map of Rome, highlighting points of interest and giving recommendations for restaurants etc, prior to our luggage being taken to our room.
Nothing seemed like too much trouble with every staff member we encountered providing a first class, professional and friendly service.
Breakfast is varied and extensive and the views from the breakfast area and rooftop terrace are fantastic.
Overall a wonderful stay.

A note for English visitors who enjoy a cup of tea... There are no kettles or tea making facilities in the rooms. There is however the rooftop bar area, and a fantastic little cafe a few buildings down. The staff are so accommodating however that I wouldn't be surprised that if requested, they would provide you with a kettle for the room.

Stayed here 4 nights from 5th to 9th July to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary. Chose a prestige room which was immaculate and stylish. Bed was super comfortable!! The hotel is beautiful with stunning views across the city. Every member of staff was helpful, friendly and polite. I would highly recommend this hotel!!

Had 4 nights here in June, such a friendly place the reception team were so helpful and welcoming, as were the team running the lovely rooftop bar. Rooms were clean and very comfortable, bathroom was lovely and modern, great shower and nice products supplied and the air con was, thankfully, very good (we had a king size superior room), the only issue was the mini bar fridge didn’t work, we did report it on day 1 but it wasn’t fixed. Not a major issue and certainly doesn’t detract from the fantastic stay we had here. Breakfast(buffet) was good and plenty of choice and never too busy. Rooftop bar had good food (a little pricey) and a good selection of drinks. Walkable to the main city, about 20 mins (downhill) to the Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps etc, bit of a long slog back uphill but that’s what the rooftop bar at the end is for as a reward for the effort!! Highly recommended.

My Husband and I have done a lot of city breaks, and stayed in different hotels all over. I’d say this is the worst hotel we’ve stayed in when comparing it to the price paid. I’d avoid it personally, even though it does have a lot of plus points. You could get something better for your money which ticks all the boxes.

Pros:
- Hotel was clean and tidy. Housekeeping clearly work very hard and our room was spotless.

- Comfy bed/pillows.

- Decent air conditioning.

- Powerful shower and decent free toiletries.

- Excellent rooftop terrace with relaxing
atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks in line with the rest of Rome.

- Reception were good at ordering taxis for you when requested, and they arrived promptly.

- We had a second floor room which was quiet.

- Most of the staff were friendly, particularly on the rooftop terrace.

Cons:
- There isn’t enough staff on reception. They tried hard, but check in was very rushed. No enquiry as to whether you were there for a special occasion - which we were.

- Check out was worse. I was asked to account for how many bottles of coke we had out of the mini bar as ‘they sometimes get it wrong’. We were there for four nights and weren’t going over board. I also wasn’t aware I was supposed to be keeping a tally. I was not shown an itemised final bill in order for me to check it in relation to the rest of the money spent. I’m aware we spent money on drinks on the terrace of course which is no issue, but I will never know if what I paid for was accurate - especially if they ‘sometimes get it wrong’. I did not have time to query this as our taxi had arrived for the airport and there was a queue of people waiting to check out with only one person on reception.

- The room was EXTREMELY dated and tired for the price of it. We booked a superior room and it was anything but. I appreciate on booking it states ‘room styles may vary’, but this was the polar opposite of the photographs and I wouldn’t class it as a simple variation. I’ve noticed others have commented similar in reviews. I didn’t raise this during the stay as I felt it was pointless as they’d just refer to the above. Some may say ‘it’s just a room to sleep in’, but it’s supposed to be a 4* hotel and you expect the room to be in keeping with that rating.

- Our room started to smell like sewage water on the second last night. It seemed to be coming from the shower cubicle. We didn’t bother querying this as it was too late in the stay for a full move, had there even been one available. I wouldn’t have been happy at all had this happened earlier on as the smell was awful.

- We only went for breakfast once and it wasn’t great. The choice was poor, particularly for hot items. Coffee was lukewarm.

- Hotel location isn’t the best. We walk everywhere, and did so in Rome bar once, but it was still long walks in extreme heat. I appreciate the hotel does not control the weather, but There’s definitely better hotels in better locations.
