Gym and breakfast are great
Pros:

Amazing breakfast, actually great functional gym, spacious rooms, coffee machine in the room, free coffee in the lobby, and awesome location (Japan Town is probably my favorite district in SF). I was pleasantly surprised!

Cons:

At first I was confused why I still had to write checks and tip extra for the breakfast that was already included in the reservation, but I guess that's just the American way haha.

Don't waste your money
Pros:

Location good. Staff good. Breakfast good.

Cons:

The room was old and dingy. The price of the room was outrageous. The Fairmont is a better value!!!!

Comfortable stay in Japantown.
Pros:

Great location, comfortable room and lobby. We've stayed several times and enjoy the hotel. Rooms lack funcional electrical outlets as items won't stay plugged in, No plugs near nightstand Frustrating for recharging. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Wonderfully quiet. Parking exceptional - clean, quiet, and safe.

Japan Town gem, but take ear plugs
Pros:

Great location next to Japan Mall, spacious room & bathroom, good breakfast buffet

Cons:

Floors 1-5 along Geary St face a loading dock where trucks make considerable noise all through the night. The weak noise maker didn’t really help. I lost so much sleep

It was a great overnight stay for my son's 20th birthday. We were able to roam Japantown.

Pros:

The inside has a lot of space to use for reading, working, sitting down.

Cons:

The elevators, carpet, hallways need some serious cleaning and updating.

There is are some hidden fees that you get after check out even though you are already paying with booking. They refused to help with that it was a a steep charge.
