I always like the pool and the pool bar here. The second room I got was much better and very large. It’s so nice that every room has a refrigerator and a microwave. The location is great. The lush atmosphere they created is also very nice. I like being right near the music venues as well.
I had a bad room at first, and then they switched me to a nicer cleaner room that was bug free. Every room I’ve stayed in here has been clean and nice. I do wish the beds were more comfortable.
A great hotel with fabulous facilities. We booked a Junior suite that was a great sized room. Food in the restaurant was lovely. Lounge was available if we wanted it. Got a free bottle of wine from the hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Tropical gardens are beautiful
Thw rooms could do with a refresh decoration wise. Dont like the $25 per night parking fee when you are already paying to stay at the hotel
Pool area, bar and food. Location is as good as Shelter island was quiet but still had bars and restaurants. Easy to reach downtown San Diego.
We had mosquito’s in our room and was annoying.

Pool was great. The bed was very comfortable. Very relaxing place to stay
Staff were really welcoming. The hotel was located in an amazing location. It was clean, and the beds were one of the comfiest I’ve ever stayed in; in a hotel. Rooms were cosy and super spacious. Loads of parking which was a huge bonus, loved the pool area and how they put movies on outside every evening for children to enjoy. This was a really special touch as our daughter loved this. Loved this hotel and when I return to San Diego in the future I would definitely stay here again as we really felt we were staying in a calm oasis.
I haven’t commented on this hotel due to the fact that I would not return.
The bar staff were friendly and helpful.
Dated rooms, untidy and unclean stairways, not a great room / view for the price.
I asked for a different room got given a room by the back of the stage after a party which was cleaned up.
Staff on there were not very friendly.
Overall not a great experience.
