Eins unserer absoluten Highlights auf unseren diversen Roadtrips
Pros:

Der Garten ist sehr sehr schön, unglaublich gut gepflegt und alles sehr sauber. Eine kleine Oase inmitten der Großstadt. Wir hatten unten ein Zimmer mit Terrasse, direkt in der Nähe der Lobby. Dadurch kurze Wege zum Pool und den Feuerstellen. An den Feuerstellen „Fire Pit“ konnte man abends noch sehr schön sitzen inmitten des Gartens. Ein absolutes Highlight unserer Reise. Allerdings war das Hotel bei weitem nicht ausgebucht, also es war demnach alles sehr ruhig und auch immer überall noch etwas frei.

Cons:

Obwohl bei vielen Zimmern ein Foto einer Terrasse oder eines Balkons abgebildet ist, haben die Zimmer dies nicht automatisch. Das muss im Text stehen, ansonsten muss man Glück haben ein Zimmer mit Außenbereich zu bekommen.

Pros:

The hotel garden is beautiful and pool is nice. The room is large and bed is comfortable.

Cons:

Monday and Tuesday there are no dinner offered.

A unique experience
Pros:

Humphrey's is a unique hotel. Rooms are reached by paths winding through enormous palm trees which gives the place a definite tropical feel. The location on Shelter Island is very scenic and easy to get to anywhere else in San Diego. We only ate breakfast in the restaurant but it was very good, and the view of the marina from the restaurant is lovely. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The rooms are a little small and don't have an overhead light. The cold water in our bathroom was cool rather than cold.

Had a hiccup as we had a security guard doing checks and he ended up coming into our room at 2:00 am.

Pros:

Great location, friendly helpful front desk staff. They let you borrow a bicycle for one hour (free) which is enough time to take a tour of Shelter Island.

Cons:

The room carpet was honestly filthy. Pool area got quite noisy during the day/evening hours but no problems sleeping at night.

Cons:

first room we got was INFECTED with cockroaches! we transferred to another room that was also dirty, smelly..nothing like the pictures! too pricey for this shed..

It was a perfect location for the concert which was a very short walk from our room.
Pros:

The room was right outside the concert event area. The pool was large enough to swim laps while still avoiding other users. The staff were all friendly and considerate. The tropical gardens added to the experience.

Quaint, cozy,
Pros:

Room was excellent, staff allowed us to switch after receiving a room that didn't suit. Location is perfect and the area was full of life and culture and the smell of the ocean was enlightening. Beach across the street was quaint and walking distance to most everything.

Cons:

Only that there wasn't a concert on the week that we were there.

Such a fun and relaxing trip to San Diego
Pros:

Humphreys is always a consistent and wonderful experience. You can enjoy time by the pool/hot tub, see live music backstage, say hi to the Macaws, eat at their delicious restaurant, and reserve a boardroom for business.

Considering the price, there should have been more attention to the details of the accommodation.
Pros:

Proximity to pool.

Cons:

The toilet was unstable and sounded like it would come apart when sitting on it. There were 2 recessed lights that were burned out. The hinge of the bathroom door squeaked. The room was very small and the patio miniscule.

Nice stay.
Pros:

My room was very comfortable as was the bed. It was nice and quiet.

Cons:

I wasn't crazy about the choice of television entertainment. I could only access certain channels. Needs more channels to choose from. Also could not get YouTube. Although, I could get the Pluto app.
