Hyatt Place Tampa Busch Gardens

We were disappointed with this hotel. We mainly booked it because it says it has onsite restaurant/dining on their website. This is not really true. The Placery is not a staffed bar/restaurant. The reception staff appear to be the ones to operate this if they have time. On our first night there was one gentleman staffing the reception desk and he said he could not get us food because he could not leave reception unmanned. This indicated to me that there was possibly no kitchen staff to cook food? We went elsewhere. Any evening we were in the hotel there was nobody staffing The Placery. We did not see anyone eating/drinking in the hotel apart from at breakfast.
Otherwise, breakfast was very good with plenty of options. The hotel room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We were there for 3 nights but did not have any housekeeping during this time. We did use the pool, it was ok but a little tired. The shuttle bus was great, and the staff we came into contact with were professional and courteous. The location was great for going to Adventure Island and Busch Gardens.

Location, great pizza

The rooms are spacious, and clean. The free breakfast was a perk although not a huge variety of items. The typical stuff eggs, sausage, cereal, bagels, and waffles. The absolute best part was the free shuttle to busch gardens- you schedule it in advance and drop off/pick up is right at the front of the park. Even if you paid preferred parking you cannot beat the convenience of not walking the lot. The staff is super friendly, specially with the kids who were so excited to talk about the rides and animals :)

It was a good location close to Busch Gardens and stores. Breakfast was amazing, was pleasantly surprised by it. The beds were great, they were super soft and we did not want to leave. Everything was clean and staff was really nice

We loved the free shuttle to the parks since this was our main reason for booking this hotel. It was quick and easy to manage and saved money. The room is super spacious and good layout for a family. Breakfast was good.

The space was nice

My family didn't complain! The rooms were clean and spacious for our family of 4. The staff was friendly, which I really appreciate. They had a great breakfast bar with plenty to choose from. We'd definitely stay here again every time we come back.

The location was central to major attractions in the area. The exterior and interior of the hotel was well maintained and inviting. The shuttle service is convenient and reliable. The entire staff was attentive, friendly and helpful for our entire stay. Breakfast was great. There were a variety of options and the ‘make-your-own-waffles’ was a hit with the kids. The room was clean, smelled fresh and everything worked. Our family always chooses Hyatt Place when we visit Tampa.

The spacious room

The location of this hotel is perfectly located. The room was clean and extremely comfortable. We were in a king suite right next to the elevator and didn't hear a thing! The breakfast was fresh and tasty. Easy parking.

This was such an amazing experience! I took my three granddaughters and we had an awesome experience! The girls and I loved the stay, the room, the pool, the breakfast, the gym, and the great staff! They were very helpful, genuinely nice to my girls and I will return for our next vacation!! Thank you for taking such great care of myself and my granddaughters!!!❤️

Great location if you are visiting Busch Gardens. Hotel was easily drivable throughout our stay, which included dining and shopping in the area as well as to St Petersburg - traffic was at an easy flow the entire trip over July 4th weekend. Are of hotel felt safe and the locals were very friendly. The room was clean and large (two doubles and a separate sitting area) and the pool was well kept up and private. Parking at the hotel was safe and shady which meant a lot since we were there during very hot days. Wherever we parked in the lot we felt we were at close proximity of the front hotel entrance. Had to issues with any loud noises from area restaurants or other hotels - we were there 5 days and never had an issue. The hotel lobby showcased themed items from Busch Gardens that added to our experience. It was a large and clean area where you could wait with family, eat, or take a break after the pool. GREAT HOTEL and will definitely stay there again.

Hyatt Place at Tampa/Busch Gardens met our travel needs and was affordable and conveniently located in a short driving distance near the downtown area where we were leaving for a cruise. The staff was friendly and helpful. Sam went above and beyond to help us print a document that we needed for a parking pass at a downtown deck. The room was spacious for our family of six with enough beds for everyone. The breakfast was diverse and tasty. We will return on our next vacation to Tampa.

Breakfast wasn’t great but there was variety

The best experience at a hotel anyone could ask for. The staff were so kind and helpful and the hotel was great. Definitely recommend!!

My experience was excellent starting with check in (I didn't get her name) her customer service was excellent she was very kind and with a smile all at times . I would definitely will choose this hotel again and again>
