Loved the layout, I stayed in one of the suites. Location was great. A walking distance to the Perimeter, quite clean.
The front-desk staff would benefit from further hospitality training, particularly in how they communicate with guests and make them feel welcome. One of the receptionists who attended to me when I arrived at the hotel on the afternoon of Monday, 7 September, came across as quite patronising and condescending. I felt compelled to challenge her and told her that she could have spoken to me more pleasantly. However, she did not appear to recognise the issue and responded, in the same manner, “I wasn’t rude.” I had not accused her of being openly rude; my concern was the patronising and condescending undertone in the way she spoke to me. In hospitality, tone and manner are just as important as the words being used.
I also noticed that whenever I walked past reception, the front-desk staff did not look up or acknowledge me, or, seemingly, anyone else passing by, even though the desk is positioned directly in front of the lifts. Perhaps staff are not specifically required to do so, but I found the complete lack of acknowledgement unusual for a hotel reception. Even a brief smile, nod or greeting would help guests feel seen and welcomed.
The spacious room
I occasionally stay here when I go to sets in Atlanta or outside of Atlanta and don’t want to drive back home if I have to be back super early the next am. I’ve stayed here maybe 3? Times and if I catch it for around 95 or 100 per night I’ll stay. If it’s higher rates I’ll go somewhere else. It’s Atlanta…not the beach. But everything is excellent in that room. Huge king bed room. Not that I need the space by myself but it’s nice to post photos of my large suite as a heads up to others if they’re in Atlanta and luck up on these rates…it’s a great place to stay. Safe area. I go to Dunwoody a bunch anyway for restaurants & shopping. I won’t stay anywhere near the airport by myself. Front desk guys always great. I’ve never used anything other than my room and wish I didn’t have to get in late each time then out super early. Work dictates that. Thanks

The staff and the amenities. It's an older gentleman who works the front desk most evenings everytime I stay and he's incredibly pleasant and always kind and nice.

Room setup
Could use a major renovation. The breakfast $21 and some change toooo…much for the basic breakfast. No one will eat $21 worth of grits and eggs. The hotel seems a lil ghetto. The panhandling, the smoking of weed. Did not like that part. I Will not be back.
