I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The location on Princes Street is outstanding, and the service was exceptional from the moment I arrived. Staff members immediately offered to help with my luggage without me even having to ask, and the same thoughtful service continued throughout my stay and when I departed.
My room was beautiful, spotlessly clean, peaceful and extremely comfortable. I loved the elegant, classic wooden furnishings, the lighting, the colours and the very comfortable bed. Everything was beautifully maintained, and the bathroom was modern and immaculate. I also appreciated having a mini-fridge and minibar.
The breakfast was excellent, with a lovely menu, and every member of staff I encountered was warm, friendly and helpful specially Mr. Gregory.
The hotel also offered excellent value for money considering its location, comfort and quality of service. I would absolutely stay here again whenever I return to Edinburgh. One of my favourite hotel experiences!

A nice view but you cannot have everything
Ottima posizione, di fronte al Balmoral ed alla stazione Waverley St. e ai principali capolinea di bus e tram, in Princes St. a pochi passi dal Royal Mile e da GrassMarket entrambi raggiungibili a piedi in 10-15 min. Anche il Castello di Edimburgo era visibile e raggiungibile in 15-20 min.
Il servizio non era all'altezza della categoria e del prezzo pagato. Il letto veniva a malapena rifatto, gli asciugamani non cambiati dopo 2/3 gg non dopo 2 ore), neppure una penna in stanza. la colazione misera, assolutamente non corrispondente alle foto su Booking, 1 sola portata, gli extra tutti a pagamento, il personale scortese e tendenzialmente assente, non attento alle esigenze. Tutto a pagamento, persino noleggio ombrelli e caricabatteria universale. un solo ascensore per 4 piani.

UBICACIÓN 10!!!!; al lado la parada del tranvía al aeropuerto. A 2 minutos caminando de la Old Town y también de la New Town. No puede estar mejor ubicado si se va a hacer turismo por la zona. Enfrente la estación de trenes. Ademas hay cafeterías y supermercados en la misma calle. La habitación cómoda; el desayuno muy bueno con un salón amplio y vistas al Castillo y al Hotel Balmoral. Personal muy agradable. VOLVERÍAMOS Y LO RECOMENDAMOS
Todo en general muy bien. Los precios en Edimburgo son caros. Es un hotel pequeñito, la habitación también pero a pesar de todo muy cómodos por que dispone de todo.
A very nice hotel. The location is perfect for someone who wants to visit all the famous places in Edinburgh, very central.
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo Princes Street and were very happy with our overall experience.The location is absolutely fantastic — extremely central and perfect for exploring Edinburgh on foot. The staff were friendly, attentive and very helpful throughout our stay. Our room was excellent, very clean and comfortable, and the bed was particularly comfortable. Everything was well maintained, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel.
We booked the Dinner, Bed and Breakfast package and were very happy with it overall. The dinner allowance is £40 per person, which we found very generous and good value. However, this limit was not communicated to us in advance, either during the booking process or in our correspondence with the hotel about dinner reservations. We only found out when we arrived at the restaurant. The allowance itself is excellent; it is just something that should be made clear to guests before arrival.
Great location. Very clean hotel. Excellent breakfast. Surprisingly very quiet room on the top floor.

Location, location, location
Lift arrangements a bit clunky
Fabulous location - within easy walking distance of all main sights and great pubs and restaurants. Opposite Waverley train station and tram to/from airport just a few minutes walk away. Great breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms (pillows aside) with decent air con and good facilities in room.
I was expecting a bit of noise after reading previous reviews but was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was with the windows shut.
Staff were polite and helpful. Check in/check out was efficient and straightforward. All in all a very pleasant stay.
Pillows were not great - one was rock hard and the other was way too soft.
