Nicely renovated, great rain shower, clean. Nice touch to have drinks, snacks and fruit available on the 10th floor! Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent hot breakfast, we would stay here again.
It would have been better if they didn’t fly the American flag right next to ours. Why have Canada, Alberta and USA flags up when we are in a trade war with USA? It is ill-advised to fly the ‘enemy’s’ flag. As much as they used to be our best friends at one time!
Better than average experience even though this an aging hotel. The main areas have been renovated wonderfully to look fresh and fancier than the room price. Rooms and hallways show their age a bit more but still clean, comfortable and have everything you need. Staff are happy, polite and professional throughout and the value is great compared to other properties in the area. Would absolutely return on our future trips to Calgary.

It’s our favorite place to stay in Calgary and we are here often. Resort atmosphere. Great people, and great value for the dollar.
Rooms were nice and clean I liked that. It’s very important to me. It wasn’t noisy at all.
The pool aria need some cleaning, and work. Breakfast wasn’t satisfied. The scrambled egg was very hard, the bacon was so dry and burned. Seasonings was missing of the food.

The location is a bit far from downtown and the pool is small and crowded
The breakfast is amazing! Very accommodating front end staff. The bed is huge and super comfortable with the best pillows! Room itself was clean, with coffee for morning. The pool looked amazing with water fountains cascading I to the pool and a little bakery in the lobby with fresh baked cookies, scones and croisants, The hotel is located close to so many stores and restaurants (plus the Hotel has a nice choice of restaurants to pick from). I think The Carriage House Inn will be my go to e very time I come to Calgary!
The whole bathroom was a disappointment. The extremely old, broken in pieces but siliconed back together sink with no counter or cabinetry to hide the sink plumbing, the bathtub in my room was stained yellow and it too was old. Didn't use it, and the toilet, albeit clean, was so far down it was silly. Meant for small children? Also old and didn't flush well. For what a person pays, the bathrooms should be renovated to HE flush toilets, upgraded sinks in cabinets and atleast put new tub surrounds. If this means raising room rates I would gladly pay more to have a nice bathroom, not super fancy or luxurious just not broken.
We have stayed in this hotel many times but have to say this is not the hotel to be at in August. The AC is controlled and you can’t turn it down. And this is all rooms. We have complained about this problem for years but nothing has changed. Also we are not the only people to mention this in reviews so our advice is stay away in summer months unless you won’t to sleep in a sauna.

Wir waren nur eine Nacht da. Die Lage war ganz gut.
Das Frühstück war nicht so gut und wir hatten unser Zimmer genau an den Lüftern draußen. Es war die ganze Nacht laut.
