It was clean
I am writing to make a formal complaint about my recent stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Coventry. Unfortunately, the experience fell well below the standard I expected from a Hilton-branded hotel, and I do not feel the service and facilities justified what I paid.
There were several issues throughout our stay that significantly affected our experience.
1. Room security
To begin with, there was no functioning lock on our room door. This was extremely concerning, as guests should be able to feel safe and secure in their own rooms. I consider this a serious issue that should not occur in a hotel of your standing.
2. Parking arrangements
I paid £20 for parking, yet I was unable to obtain a parking bay and had to park further away. I was travelling with my mum, who has heart problems and a disabled parking badge, making the lack of suitable parking particularly inconvenient. I do not believe it is reasonable to charge guests for parking when an appropriate space is not available.
I would like the £20 parking charge refunded.
3. Excessive noise throughout the night
There was a convention taking place during our stay, and the hotel was very noisy every night. The level of noise made the stay unpleasant and affected our ability to relax and enjoy our time there. I appreciate that hotels may host events, but this should not come at the expense of guests’ comfort.
4. Breakfast
The breakfast was extremely disappointing and was the worst part of an already unsatisfactory stay. The quality and overall experience fell below my expectations, particularly given the price and the reputation of the hotel.
Taken together, these issues made our stay very disappointing. The lack of room security was particularly concerning, while the parking difficulties, repeated nighttime noise and poor breakfast further detracted from the experience.
I chose your hotel expecting a comfortable, safe and enjoyable stay. Unfortunately, that is not what we received.

Tv had no channels
Our room was cold the heater didn't work to warm it up, I have chronic asthma so this wasn't good
