A good base for the top end of Melbourne CBD, MCG and going into Brunswick.
Pros:

The free drinks hour!! The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Room relatively small for an Australian hotel, although fine by UK standards.
Handy for trams but up to 20 mins to get there and very crowded - definitely get a taxi if you have big luggage.

4 day weekend. Excellent walked everywhere plus caught trams

Happy hour wasn't the best. The wine was not the best it was one kind of white and one red the white was pino grigio but was quite sour.

Night in town.
Pros:

The service and location was terrific. Complimentary drinks was fun, chatting with the other guests .The room was great and comfortable. The place has a cool vibe .

disappointed as our last stay was pleasant
Cons:

Did not like our room 701 as it was at the top and next door to us was the aircon unit which made a constant rubbling noise all night and it also made the bed wall vibrate.

Comfortable and convenient
Pros:

Breakfast was basic continental included in the stay and although limited it did seem to be enough to make a good start to the day.
There was an option to order from the menu for an extra payment if you wanted something more substantial.
The complimentary drinks each evening was great and ensy=uresed a nice beginning to our night out in Melbourne.

Cons:

For our one night stay there wasn't anything I could say I didn't like about this hotel. I would recommend this location to anyone visiting Melbourne especially if you are here for a show as it is right in the middle of the theatre district

Great location but bathroom was not great.

Location is great and the bed was comfortable.

Cons:

We were given an accessible room. The bathroom was huge and not very pleasant (no toilet lid etc) Shower had no pressure and the shower screen was a bit stained/dirty looking.

Convenient and comfortable
Pros:

Lovely, comfortable room. The bed was excellent and the bathroom a generous size.

Cons:

There was a little bit of street noise, but it is central so not really a surprise. The air-conditioning was a bit noisy also.
