Pros:

The location was perfect for visiting the Princess Theatre and walking distance to many good eateries. The staff were very approachable and personable.
The room felt like luxury.
Will definitely stay again!

Cons:

It was a little noisy throughout the night, due to trucks and a bit of yelling in the lane way. Take some ear plugs!

Lancemore on Crossley - a nice, clean and noisy hotel
Pros:

Excellent location in Melbourne CBD.
Hotel staff all lovely.
Rooms were roomy and clean.

Cons:

Possibly the noisiest hotel I've stayed in. Constantly woken up by drunk patrons from the basement bar/restaurant, industrial noise, garbage and delivery trucks in the laneway, not to mention housekeeping vacuuming outside the room at 6 - 7am..

Pros:

Location was good

Cons:

Constant issues with room access keys. Lifts weren’t working properly. The rooms are really noisy at night and it’s difficult to sleep. Cleaners vacuuming in the hallways outside rooms before 8am. Not worth anywhere near the money it costs to stay in a suite.

Lancemore King Room
Pros:

We were upgraded to the top floor and had a large room with a view across the city and a terrace. It had a table and chairs and the usual amenities. The hosted hour of complimentary drinks was a great way to meet other guests and enjoy the hospitality. The location was very close to a wide range of eating places. We would certainly stay again.

Cons:

Nothing to dislike.

Nice accommodation and the staff were very friendly. The hotel was in a good location too.
Pros:

The free drinks hour between 5-6pm was an unexpected bonus.

Cons:

The location was somewhat noisy at night, not something that we had anticipated, for example we were woken at 4am one night by people having an argument outside for about 20 minutes.

Great Location in the Centre of the theatre area of Melb. With train stations around to get to wherever you need to.

Cons:

I had a laneway facing room, and it was a little noisy later in the evening and early in the morning.

Also, there wasn't enough room for the complementary drinks so we missed out sadly.

3 Day Getaway.
Pros:

Very comfortable, clean room. (super comfy bed)
Staff were very welcoming and accommodating.
Enjoyed the happy hour each night.
Close to the Princess Theatre where we saw a show.

Cons:

Noisy air-conditioning. No heavy drapes to close for privacy from adjacent apartment block.
