I had a really comfortable stay at the Howard Johnson in Chattanooga. The room was clean, spacious, and felt freshly maintained, which made it easy to relax after a long day. The staff were friendly and helpful from check‑in to checkout. The location is a big plus — it’s very close to the Earlanger Softball Stadium, which made getting to games quick and stress‑free. It’s also convenient to restaurants and the Lookout Mountain attractions. Overall, a solid and pleasant stay, and I’d definitely come back.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and gave us plenty of space to relax after a long day of exploring Chattanooga. The highlight for the kids (and adults!) was definitely the pool area. it was clean, well-maintained, and a super refreshing way to unwind.
The location right off I-24 made getting to Lookout Mountain and local attractions extremely convenient. Friendly service and great value for the price. We would definitely stay here again on our next family trip!

The location right off I-24 is super convenient—we were just a quick drive away from Lookout Mountain, Rock City, and downtown. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet enough for us to get a good night's rest after a long day of sightseeing. Front desk staff were super welcoming and gave us a few good local food recommendations. For the price, you really can't beat the convenience and comfort. We’d definitely stay here again!

Het ontbijt stelde echt niets voor. Uitgaande van de foto's op booking.com verwachtten wij een ontbijt met veel meer keuze. We hebben hier 3 nachten verbleven en elke keer was er alleen melk (stond wel koel) en 2 soorten cereals (cornflakes en loops), voorverpakte muffins en uiteraard koffie/ thee. Naast de de beperkte keuze was de ontbijtruimte vies. Deze werd niet echt bijgehouden. Een beperkt ontbijt vinden we op zich geen probleem, maar hier hadden we andere verwachtingen op basis van de foto's. Een vieze ontbijtruimte vinden we natuurlijk echt niet oké.

Stayed here for a couple nights while in town and overall had a good experience. Room was clean and comfortable, bed was decent, and the AC worked great which mattered a lot in this heat. Staff at the front desk were friendly and helped me out with a late check-in without any hassle. Location is convenient, close to restaurants and easy to get to from the highway. Breakfast was simple but had enough options to get you going in the morning. Nothing fancy here, but for the price it's a solid, reliable choice if you just need a comfortable place to crash. Would stay again if I'm back in the area.
If I could put negative stars I would have, we got there a little earlier than check in. The front desk said it was good to go. IT WAS NOT! We pulled in front of our door went inside had not been cleaned at all we went down to the office said our room is not cleaned. He just looked at us and said it’s not 4 yet. We asked then why did you let us check in early? We went back to the car which was in front of our room saw the housekeeps “cleaning” the did not strip the beds they just straightened out the ones that were already on the bed from the previous guest. After all that they did not give us a refund! This place is terrible no wonder why there was only 4 cars for that whole hotel!
