Fine for one night.
Pros:

Right off the interstate so no having to search for it but it’s basically on top of another hotel and trying to maneuver through the parking lot is difficult.

Cons:

The bathroom legit looked like a truck stop bathroom. The toilet was some old industrial toilet and it was far from clean. A simple new coat of paint and an updated toilet would go a long way. TV remote barely worked and was super old, so an update there would be nice as well.

Pros:

It was quiet and a decent place to stay one night with my family.

Cons:

It’s very outdated, some things falling apart in the room, the bathroom is extremely small and outdated. Irritating that they ask for a $50 incidental fee. It is mentioned on the LAST page of booking and it’s very hidden… I had to go back and look for it. But was not expecting to spend an extra $50 and then wait days or more to get it back.

Pros:

Alles was man sich für eine Nacht wünscht. Personal war um uns besorgt wegen dem Sturm und hat uns Tipps gegeben. Waren bei einem Konzert, hat bei der Abreise nachgefragt und eine gute weitere Reise gewünscht.

Perfect Stay Near Erlanger Softball Stadium

I had a really comfortable stay at the Howard Johnson in Chattanooga. The room was clean, spacious, and felt freshly maintained, which made it easy to relax after a long day. The staff were friendly and helpful from check‑in to checkout. The location is a big plus — it’s very close to the Earlanger Softball Stadium, which made getting to games quick and stress‑free. It’s also convenient to restaurants and the Lookout Mountain attractions. Overall, a solid and pleasant stay, and I’d definitely come back.

Great family stay! Loved the pool and location
Pros:

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and gave us plenty of space to relax after a long day of exploring Chattanooga. The highlight for the kids (and adults!) was definitely the pool area. it was clean, well-maintained, and a super refreshing way to unwind.
The location right off I-24 made getting to Lookout Mountain and local attractions extremely convenient. Friendly service and great value for the price. We would definitely stay here again on our next family trip!

Great location and awesome value for a couple’s getaway!

y partner and I stayed here for a weekend trip to explore Chattanooga, and it was a great experience! The location right off I-24 is super convenient—we were just a quick drive away from Lookout Mountain, Rock City, and downtown. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet enough for us to get a good night's rest after a long day of sightseeing. Front desk staff were super welcoming and gave us a few good local food recommendations. For the price, you really can't beat the convenience and comfort. We’d definitely stay here again!
