Central location to train station, parkrun and riverside park walks.
Pros:

Within walking distance of train station, Saturday 9am parkrun at East Holmes Park. An evening walk alongside river Wharfe for picnic dinner. All Saints Church opposite contains many Saxon crosses & grave slabs. Substantial breakfast served in hamper in bedroom. Neat & smart black electric fan invaluable.

Cons:

Nothing.

Pros:

Staff did their very best to mitigate the decisions the operator made in regards to closing the kitchen but taking bookings where breakfast was included and paid for.

Cons:

Rate included breakfast. Breakfast was in a basket in the room, mostly highly processed food and no table to sit at. Sport Bar directly under our room with TV’s roaring until 11:30pm at night.

Great value for money
Pros:

The room was a great size. Very clean and the bathroom was very impressive. There was a breakfast hamper in the room as they dont do food and this was well stocked. Would highly recommend. The bed was really comfortable, slept very well. Dog friendly as well.

Cons:

Couldn't get in initially despite asking a few days before if we could leave our case there. However this was soon sorted after I sent a message.

Lovely comfortable room and very central. Would stay again.
Pros:

Although the breakfast was in the room and from a basket, it was plentiful and contained good quality tasty items- much more than anyone could eat. The room was contemporary and very comfortable.

Cons:

a small criticism was that only one chair was supplied- one of us had to perch on the bed to eat breakfast.

Ok but will look for alternatives next time.
Pros:

Comfortable room.

Cons:

Change of ownership/management so no longer doing cooked breakfast which was disappointing, just Cold breakfast items in room.
Lots of traffic noise.
Pay parking close by but expensive, complicated to pay, and very hungry traffic wardens!

No breakfast when paid for it!
Pros:

Staff and location were very goog

Cons:

The booking was made with an inclusive breakfast. Site showed pictures of a fully cooked breakfasts but on arrival advised they were no longer doing cooked breakfasts. No refund/reduction offered - complained directly to hotel - no response. Rooms are now reduced in price, I assume due to the absence of breakfast but the whole thing stops it being relaxing and ruined the break!

Avoid if you want a cooked breakfast
Pros:

Comfortable room, friendly staff

Cons:

Having paid for a stay including a cooked breakfast they no longer have a working kitchen. So breakfast consisted of cereal fruit and a croissant in our room. Which, based on the room rate currently available, cost us £37.
