Fabulous wish we'd stayed longer
Pros:

Was just blown away by this fabulous place. Joe checked us in smoothly and explained all the essentisl details of what we needed to know for our stay in a friendly understandable way. We noticed the fabulous interior design and artwork and Joe was a mine of information everything we learned was so interesting. The room was extremely comfortable and spacious we had all we needed and more! Excellent location too. Wish we'd booked for longer stay. Wholly recommended.

Excellent service and clean!
Pros:

This hotel is clean and well maintained. It's not too far from restaurants, bars, and petco park. The staff were amazing! Joe was particularly helpful from parking to telling us about the history of the hotel and taking photographs of us. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This was the best stay we’ve ever had!
Pros:

The property is absolutely beautiful! It had a lovely ambience with its own bar. The staff are so friendly and welcoming as well.

To boujee and stuck up for us but the check in man was extremely nice helpful
Pros:

The bartender was horrible and extremely rude to us and other guest you need a new bartender and server

Cons:

The bar upstairs was closed by pool very disappointing

Would recommend!
Pros:

Beautiful remodeled property in a great location! Live entertainment every night..restaurant is great downstairs. Amazing pool area. Great value for the $!

Cons:

The bed duvets could have been thicker and more plush.

Super attentive
Pros:

Our stay at the West Gate Hotel was one of the greatest experiences, Front desk workers are so attentive especially Sarah. Sarah went above and beyond for us and made us feel right at home. Thank you West Gate and if you’re staying here for any future events don’t forget to check out the sauna and gym on the 3rd floor!👍

Great stay at the Westgate
Pros:

Wonderful stay at The Westgate Hotel, service was exceptional especially with Sarah at the front desk. She was kind and courteous. Location is also perfect for a Padres or even for food or drinks. Everything is walking distance and a great fitness center for a hotel

Pros:

O hotel fica muito bem localizado, próximo dos principais pontos turísticos e também do bairro mais movimentado a noite. A estrutura do hotel é maravilhosa, os quartos grandes e lindos. Funcionários muito educados e solícitos. Café da manhã excelente no restaurante do hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at the Westgate while celebrating our 10-year anniversary. A special thank you to Sarah at the front desk, who went above and beyond by recommending some great places to eat in San Diego for my girlfriend and me. She was the MVP of our trip! Erik was also incredibly helpful and made our stay even better. Their excellent service made our celebration truly memorable. Thank you both!
