It s shows as hotel and it is a hostal, the first night the air conditioner was not working properly.

Very central and busy location, close to everything in Rodadero. Pleasant, friendly staff.
Cozy small hostel yard was much more peaceful compared to the street. Next time we would definitely choose a room facing yard instead. Room was basic, with large comfortable bed. Air conditioner worked well and was a life-saver, as weather in Santa Marta was unbearably hot.
Internet was decent in public areas like co-working, kitchen, but didn't work stable in our room. Ping-pong in hostel was fun with kids running around and cheering.

Tasty breakfast with few options to select from (I recommend omelet with mushrooms).
Very noisy street, take earplugs to sleep. Loud music, dances, drums, street singers until 12-1 am. And at 4am local restaurant below our room used to start preparing food, moving furniture, talking loudly.
Bad smell from bathroom drain from time to time.
A strange window in the bathroom definitely needs a curtain. (As a tall woman I felt uncomfortable while taking shower)

The rooms are old,the breakfast is poor and has a small portion, the toilet and the bathroom is dirty and old,there is no ceiling of the bathroom (basically you do everything like you are inside the room ).
