Kyoto family visit
Pros:

Amazing amazing place to stay, super comfortable beds nice clean rooms and almost all facilities inside the room. Absolutely loved our stay there.
My kids also loved it. Very close to metro station and several restaurants and convenience stores near by.
Walking distance from Kyoto station.
Will definitely come back again

Cons:

Only breakfast was very basic, its super limited just couple of things only. Probably if I come again will stay without breakfast option.

Great hotel in a great location with great staff
Pros:

Everything was great. The location is perfect - 5 min walk away from Kyoto station. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were afraid from not getting enough light based on other comments, but had no issue. There was more than enough sunlight. We used the washing machines a lot and it was great. The hotel is very clean and each morning we got a replacement of all the amenities, even when we slept late and put a do not disturb sign.
In conclusion 10 out 10 from all aspects. When we will be in Kyoto again we will definitely stay in eph again.

Good location, quiet
Pros:

Excellent location, in a quiet area yet very convenient. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always had a positive attitude.

If you choose to skip room cleaning, fresh towels and bottled water are still left outside your door, which is a thoughtful touch.

Complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, and tea are available 24 hours a day. The coffee was especially outstanding—one of the best hotel coffees I’ve had and exactly to my taste.

Cons:

The breakfast was average. It wasn’t bad, but it was fairly ordinary and didn’t stand out compared to other hotels.

Der Empfang im Hotel war sehr freundlich und die Mitarbeiterin konnte ordentliches Englisch.
Das Zimmer war aussergewöhnlich gross für japanische Verhältnisse und war super ausgestattet. Ein Fenster mit Ausblick hat das Zimmer nicht, was uns aber nicht störte.
Die Klimaanlage funktionierte sehr gut.
Die Lage ist ebenfalls sehr gut und ruhig. Zum Bahnhof Kyoto dauert es knappe 3 Gehminuten.
Der Versand unseres Gepäcks an unsere nächste Destination hat ebenfalls bestens funktioniert.
Alles in allem waren wir super zufrieden und würden dieses Hotel jedem weiterempfehlen.

Cons:

Nicht unbedingt eine Kritik, sondern vielmehr eine Anregung: Das servierte Frühstück hatte einen super leckeren Smoothie und dazu jeweils je nach Tag entweder Salat, Suppe & ein Croissant oder Panini. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, vor allem für westliche Gäste kommt der Salat und die Suppe aber eher überraschend um diese Uhrzeit.
Vielleicht könnte man dies prominenter erwähnen beim Check-in.
Nebst dem servierten Frühstück gab es eine Auswahl am Buffet. Dort könnte man noch Brot anbieten. Alleine Toastbrot und ein Toaster würden vermutlich viele Gäste schon erfreuen.

Pros:

The room was beautiful and featured modern decor. We walked over from Kyoto station and were able to drop off our luggage before check in. The staff were friendly and delivered our luggage to our rooms. The toiletries that were provided were high quality. The location is great for taking adventures from Kyoto station.
