This was a lovely hotel, clean, spacious and very welcoming, I stayed one night but would gladly have booked for the weekend, parking was easy, either at the property or a car park was free from 8pm to 8am next door. My family ordered a meal from the bar and said it was delicious, we had just drinks and all were great value !
There is no breakfast at the property BUT across the road is a delightful cafe, which fills ever desire
If im going to be picky there is a clock outside the property and it does chime throughout the night, it didn't affect my stay but my husband said he heard it, just to add we had the windows open due to warm weather
But it certainly won't stop us from staying there again
The location was great, the famiky room very spacious so we didn't feel cramped at all being three adults. The staff were very friendly and accomodating.
Actually I cannot think of anything
The hotel is located in a beautiful village with a town hall, cafes and shops nearby.
The hotel was very clean, comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
They also speak Welsh which was nice to hear.
It has customer parking and WiFi.
The pub food was excellent. It was way beyond our expectations.
I would stay there again.
I really cannot find fault with it.
Stunning place. Very old world but still have clean and luxurious
Unfortunately it was so loud! The single glaze windows and the fact it’s a pub on a Saturday we accepted but it was the pipes! You could hear absolutely everything throughout the night and all the pipes bang continuously and the walls were so thin that even with a later checkout we were up when other guests / cleaners were making noise. Bedding was lovely and fresh but mattress was terrible quality
Location in centre of town
No breakfast available on site , cafe across the road was excellent
Friendly person at check-in.
Large, clean room
Comfortable beds
Lack of car parking space and not provided with clear information about alternatives. Had to wake up early and pay for parking before 8am - some agreement with hotel and car park is required.
Room at front of hotel was noisy which included the townhall bell ringing every hour at night
Nowhere to hang wet towels.
Vertical rail holding shower head came off in my hands!
There was nothing really I can say I liked.
Rooms were big.
Wi fi was good. Bathroom were okay clean
Booking.com said breakfast was served, but upon arrival staff said there will be no breakfast, bed looked clean but carpet was not very clean. on the second day no body come to clean the room or to replace used cups, we asked for extra cups with the staff for tea, they said we will need to clean the cups if we wanted to make drink. wanted to purchase some water bottle, none was available. town was dead town, we went to look for a restaurant nearest one was 10 miles away. most of the restaurant were closed as being Monday. A little depressing town to be honest.
What a welcoming Hotel. We were in the Courtyard and it was fab. Met Sarah and Wendy from Housekeeping, they are a credit to the Hotel. Fantastic ladies, couldnt do enough for you. Great team.
It was just a normal double bed. The room was spacious so could easily fit a King or indeed a Queen in it.
likes center easy travel and find places, also near easy walk shopping lidl, asda, aldi and b&m
every none comment, but one need changes mattress thanks.
Rooms was large, had tea and coffee facilities and was free parking.
Bathroom didn’t have hooks to hang wet tales , and the room could have benefited with a mini fridge .
Very friendly staff that made us feel welcome all the way through our stay

Absolutely super accommodation in the time centre of this lovely village with excellent customer service food and friendly atmosphere
It was all great
Our room was right at the front of the hotel and there was a lot of traffic noise and people coming out of the pubs across the rd, I can imagine in the week or isn't an issue at all but it was loud on the Friday night .
No wi fi, we were unable to connect but it didn't bother me to the point I had to go and speak to someone.
The staff were extremely friendly the hotel clean, they don't do breakfast but there is a cafe opposite
Staff very helpful and friendly.
No breakfast no evening meals available at all. Kitchen run totally separate from hotel. WHY
Staff so helpful and lovely atmosphere, room comfy and clean.
Better fan.
