Pros:

Great location. Amazing view of the bay and great to see the crews and lifeboats in action and sit alongside them as you have breakfast.
AND every penny you spend goes towards keeping the RNLI running.
Short walk into town and easy to park. Staff incredibly helpful throughout

Pros:

Been before so the hotel is spotless and the rooms are comfortable and spotless

Cons:

The only thing that took the edge of our stay was we booked the riggers restaurant for a meal on Wednesday night only to be told was a Indian buffet, so couldn't order of the menu so was a bit disappointed as my partner can't eat spicy food so was limited to what she could eat.

Far too noisy
Pros:

Lovely front desk and breakfast staff. Good location. Well designed room.

Cons:

Noise. Needs to be soundproofed. I was kept awake by person in the room next door snoring all night. Plus lots of noise above. The front desk thought the noise was made by the night staff. Also, having a 10.5 duvet during a heatwave is ridiculous. I phoned reception during the night and the night porter said there's nothing he could do about any of it.

I asked to speak to the manager and they explained that there was no one around but they would speak to them on my behalf on Monday and they will contact me. It's now Wednesday and I've heard nothing from them which I find very disappointing considering I support this charity with a monthly donation.

Pros:

All very nice and clean. Amazing breakfast.

Cons:

Room is quite small for 3 people. Shower temperature control very stiff to use, not allowing to set up the temperature we want and water with constant variation, hot, cold, during the showers.

Comfortable one night stay - just what was required!
Pros:

The hotel was spotlessly clean. We had a sea view room which had great views from the window of a mixture of RNLI vessels and private craft in the water.
The breakfast included in room rate was a good self service breakfast. Within easy walking distance of the quay with free secure parking.
Staff were all lovely - helpful, informative and polite.
Would def stay again.

Cons:

Nothing to dislike!
