Pros:

The location was perfect. Within easy walking distance of the village, amenities, and yet very quiet. Having on site parking was brilliant as we could leave the car and take trails to various nearby villages. Using the car in afternoons to get to father afield places of interest.
Breakfasts excellent. Waiting on staff and cleaner helpful and amenable. Always smiling.

Cons:

The bar staff closed up around us one evening at 9:45 as we sat having a drink Turning all the lights off and dowsing the candles. Granted we were the only ones there but it felt we ought to take our drinks up to the room.

Great stay in a cute village
Pros:

Lovely stay in an authentic Cotswold Inn. Rooms spotless, beds comfy, lots of charm. Breakfast was wonderful. Staff was attentive.

Pros:

Old world charm. Great location. Lovely staff

Cons:

Stairs to rooms a little steep. Would like better choice of pillows.
Food and drink expensive in the bar.

We would visit again, good qualify furnishings, very clean, warm and friendly staff
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent, lovely dining room good selection of freshly cooked food and very friendly service.

Cons:

Not sure they can do anything about this - the traffic noise outside disturbed us. The room was hot and had no air con, while the fan was useful we needed to have the window open which made the noise worse.

Pros:

Right in the heart of Bourton on the water within walking distance of everything.
Hotel room was comfortable although a narrow staircase and had to navigate around a fire door just outside of our room otherwise all room facilities were great. The breakfast was amazing. Lots of choice. Staff were helpful and exceptional.

Cons:

The carpark at the side of the hotel was small. We also couldn't fathom if parking was included. We had to register the car when booking in and pay £7.50 after speaking to staff of the hotel.

Cotswold Visit
Pros:

The room on the ground was very nice but no air con other than a Dyson Fan which was not great.
Also there was a bad smell of drains most of the time so had to open the window on a regular basis.
Breakfast was excellent as were the staff.
Parking in the yard next to the Hotel/Pub was not very good as it was quite small .It was pot luck before 1800 if you got a place as lots of visitors to the town parked here for the model village. I think that they should have reserved places for hotel guests who stay.
Well located for the village and although it is on the main road there was good sound proofing/secondary glazing to stop the noise from the traffic.
Would stay at the New old Inn again when visiting
Although it was high season thought that our stay was a bit overpriced for this type of accommodation.

Cons:

They don't serve meals in the evening on Sunday.

Fantastic staff, room, facilities and breakfast!
Pros:

The pub is centrally located, slightly away from the main high street and the huge numbers of tourists - it therefore felt more relaxed. Staff were all amazing and so was the breakfast. It was served on crisp table linen, china plates with sparkling cutlery all within a beautifully decorated dinning room. Christina greeted us every morning with a warm smile and gave us fantastic service. Our room was amazing too!
