Nice view pleasant hotel
It was all just nice but not amazing
Parkplatz direkt neben dem Hotel, liebevoll eingerichtete Hotel
es war alles ok
I've been impressed by the grandeur of this hotel, outside as well as inside. Somebody told me that it had been recently renovated and indeed my room was nicely decorated. There is a great choice in the restaurant's menu. A bus stop in front of the hotel can be very helpfull when walking along the coast.
Location and food was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately bathroom which was very big didn’t have a window and the shower screen leaked water onto the bathroom floor when having a shower. Needed to spread bath mat to dry it up. Window only had limited opening, which I get from health and safety point of view, but very restrictive.
2nd stay here. Shelley could not have been more lovely and helpful. I checked in late after completing a long coastal path run. The restaurant was closed, but was made a sandwich. Breakfast was also really good.
The room was much nicer than my first stay.
A wedding at the hotel was a bit noisy, but to be expected.
Nice hotel, lovely staff
Room wasn’t great, very small and had a musty smell.
The breakfast was really good and plenty of choices.
The room was a little warm as there is no air conditioning. I understand that it’s an old building which is difficult to install.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was hot and had great pressure.
The hotel was welcoming and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Excellent varied breakfast included in my price. Lovely bar and lounge area downstairs. Great central location on the coastal path and near a large tesco.
Room was a bit impersonal, no bath, and had to get dressed and go downstairs tonask for hairdryer which had apparently been taken by last guest. No phone in room to reception.
Great receptionist.
Good location.
Room very clean and pleasant.
Even hotel guests couldn't have food in house beyond 8pm, even on a Saturday in June.
Most local restaurants shut at 8.30pm. Bring sandwiches?!
The usual deny pinching lack of loo roll. Really? A half a used roll. Not OK.
Extremely comfy bed and warm venue
Location is easy to find with good parking, comfortable rooms, good food and excellent helpful and friendly staff
The hotel has had a significant upgrade since I stayed there last, a few years ago. The results are fantastic.
Tastefully redecorated bar & restaurant areas, paying homage to the history, with plenty of modern touches.
The bed was comfortable.
The linen was clean & fresh.
Excellent wi-fi coverage throughout the hotel; from the bar to the bedrooms.
The food in the bar was excellent quality.
The Staff were very friendly, professional & happy to help throughout my stay.
Ideal location for the marina & local tourist spots.
Apart from the good old Welsh weather, there isn't much to not to like
Lovely room for a good price and very nice staff. Comfy bed and great view of the harbour from the window. I stayed for 1 night so me and my 4 y/o daughter had somewhere to rest after a busy day at Skomer.
The restaurant staff were lovely though and even brought some proper colouring books for my daughter to doodle in whilst food cooked.
The restaurant food wasn’t amazing and cost more than the room, which considering it was 1 adult and 1 child eating, was surprising. Noisy road out the front and limited parking.
They have done an excellent update on the hotel. We stayed a warm Saturday night and the terrace was busy, noisy people under the covered area till after midnight. Also neighbouring guest running in corridor and slamming doors late at night. Will visit again and seek a quieter room!!
Noisy guests you can't control!
Parking was a bit of a gamble, Breakfast could improve, no fresh fruit etc, cold beans. Room was close to kitchen fan extraction so there was constant noise. Staff good and helpful
Parking, breakfast, noise
Location, helpful staff, own car park, breakfast and views from the restaurant. Evening meal was a salad and cook was extremely helpful suggesting alternative options.
Room and bed, large and airy.
Pricing for Breakfast on Booking.com did quite match current price and options at the hotel.
Minor point otherwise very satisfactory and would book again.
