Location
Has roaches, asked from staff to switch rooms or refund, wasn’t given either and was told they can’t promise another room won’t have roaches as they just killed some downstairs and that I can’t get a refund since I checked in.
Carpets are ripped up and stained.
Walls stained.
Breakfast is standard continental fare - fruit, cereal, yogurt, waffles. Hot food on the weekend. It's a busy, affordable hotel, so lots of people coming and going. It's an older place, no frills, but very spacious rooms.
Front desk staff is nice.
The hotel is close to the freeway, which is nice. There are some restaurants and convenience stores nearby.
What I didn’t like is that the bathroom was dirty. At night while I was sleeping, there were insects or bugs—I’m not sure what they were. The bed base is dirty, and the room smells bad.
El gimnasio.
La cafetera que ponen estaba muy sucias con hongos y olía muy mal.

The size of the TVs and comfort of bed
One of the daytime front desk staff members was very rude during my stay. She was neither friendly nor kind and appeared to judge my situation harshly. The issue was simply a misunderstanding regarding my checkout date. I was under the impression that I had the room for an additional night, but instead I woke up to loud pounding on the door. There was no greeting such as “hello” or “good morning,” only a harsh tone and serious stare.
Customer service is essential in the hospitality industry. It plays a major role in public relations, marketing, and guest retention. Positive, respectful interactions encourage guests to return and to share good experiences online through reviews and word of mouth. When staff members fail to address situations with professionalism and courtesy, guests often choose to stay elsewhere.
The power of word of mouth today is equivalent to an online rating—it spreads quickly and influences the decisions of future guests across multiple platforms.
