I didn’t feel this hotel was very nice. I could only give it one out of five stars.

Only the location

Cons:

The room was very very outdated. The beds had old mattresses and the one bed squeaked so bad you couldn’t sleep on it. In the bathroom, there were several tiles that had water damage in the ceiling. The bathtub was peeling and had multiple stains. The hotel itself had a musty smell.

The location of the hotel is gorgeous, but the hotel itself is not worth the money. I
Pros:

The beach is absolutely beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The bathroom in the indoor pool area was an absolute disgrace. It was infested with drain flies, dirty, and no toilet paper. For the amount of money being spent for 1-night the bathrooms should at least be cleaned.

We love the location, but disappointed that the building wasn't as pristine as it was years ago.
Pros:

I love Old Silver Beach, it is one of my favorite places in the world (beautiful, warm water, tranquil setting.) I love that beach chairs are set up and towels are available. I love that it has both an outdoor and indoor pool. I love that it has a restaurant on the facility. The staff in the gift shop and snack bar were very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

We have been going there since 2016. The building seems to need some TLC. The baseboards seem rusted or something. The drape in our room was broken. We had to keep it closed with some books leaned against the window since we were on the first floor. The bedding used to be really luxurious. At our visit, the pillows were hard and uncomfortable. The description on Booking.com although true was somewhat misleading. It said oceanfront when I chose the offering. I noticed it changed to ocean view when I purchased it. The view was of the parking lot. The ocean was blocked by the cars. The breakfast buffet was not up to par. The made to order omelets were being made by inexperienced kids and most often only one who couldn't keep up with the people in the line (not his fault). The scrambled eggs in the line were cold.

Nice beach spot on the Cape to launch from
Pros:

Beach location is somewhat rare for the area with full amenities

Cons:

Lots of kids! Not their fault, it's vacation but at times overwhelming as opposed to smaller boutique hotels we normally stay at but we understand.

Great location resort needs work
Pros:

The breakfast seemed to be the only good meal we had there and the only meal worth the price.

Cons:

Cleanliness needs work. Food prices are outrageous for what you get. This is our 6th time there and this time it did not meet our expectations. Amenities didn’t open the time they said they would. No waiters on the beach like usual. It just was not great. Unfortunately

The direct access to the sea and the availability of umbrellas and chairs in the beach.

Cons:

The structure has potential, but it is now very old and need renovation. The major problem was the cleanliness: the room and the common spaces were very very very dirty. Housekeeping was poor and the personnel did not have even a vacuum cleaner to properly clean the rooms. Overall, it was too expensive for the quality of the services offered. The swimming pools were super dirty.

It’s awful and not kept up. Everything is old and broke the jacuzzi was not working every facility for food open late you wait more than hour for food that is cold. The rooms are not clean. The place itself is very expensive
