I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Room Mate Alba. The room was clean, beautifully designed, and comfortable, especially the mattress, which provided an excellent night’s sleep. The staff delivered great service, and the central Madrid location was perfect for exploring the city. I would absolutely stay here again.
My only recommendation would be to improve the shower design. The glass partition covers only half the shower, leaving the other half open and allowing water to splash onto the bathroom floor. I had to get creative with positioning the showerhead to keep the floor dry. Also, room rates were quite high during our visit, though I understand pricing can vary based on demand.
The hotel was in a great location very close to shopping, restaurants, and excursion meeting points. The bartenders were excellent. They made artisan drinks with a special personal twist. They also gave us a list of places to eat and visit.

Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt. Das Viertel der "Poeten" wunderschön, gute Restaurants, viele kleine Geschäfte, ein sehr guter Markt in der Nähe und die lebendige Place de Santa Ana. Alle großen Museen, die berühmten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.
Das Hotel bietet gehobene Mittelklasse, das Personal ist freundlich und wirklich hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist gut und abwechslungsreich. Und wichtig in Spanien - nachdem man spät am Abend ißt, Frühstück gibt es bis 12:00. Und am Abend zum Aperitif macht der Barkeeper den perfekten Vermut!

Eigentlich fällt mir jetzt gar nichts ein. Es ist kein Luxushotel - aber das machte auch seinen Charme aus!

The coffee from the coffee machine is terrible, but there is a decent coffee shop very close. Out of the hotel, and right, 20 meters down on the left. Order your fresh cooked eggs / omelette. Go get a coffee. 👌
