Pros:

Die Zimmer an sich sind gut. Das Bett ist bequem.

Cons:

Die Lobby ist recht dunkel und abweisend wie auch die Gänge ein recht merkwürdiges Design haben. Wenn man 2-3 Tage bleibt wäre eine Flasche Leitungswasser im Zimmer abends einfach eine nette Geste statt nur einmal am Anreisetag. Mühsam ist die Dusche wo man vorsichtig die Temperatur von Hand herausfinden muss....

An amazing stay with a great location, lovely rooms and exceptional staff — I would definitely stay here again!
Pros:

I had a wonderful stay at Room Mate Alba. The location is excellent and very convenient for exploring Madrid, and I really enjoyed the room, the bathroom, and the breakfast buffet. Everything was comfortable and very well maintained.

What stood out the most, however, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. A very special mention has to go to Pablo, who truly went above and beyond throughout my stay. He was exceptionally kind, helpful, and attentive, assisting me with everything I needed — from helping me find the right train to Seville to arranging my pick-up to the station and making sure everything went smoothly. Nothing ever seemed like too much trouble for him. His genuine hospitality and willingness to help made a real difference to my stay and is exactly the kind of service you remember after leaving a hotel. He is a real credit to the team.

Cons:

There was honestly very little I didn’t like. The only minor point was that I found the pillows a little uncomfortable. It would also be nice to have a tissue box provided in the room or bathroom. These are very small details, though, and certainly did not take away from an otherwise excellent stay.

Hotel satisfaisant dans un super quartier de madrid.
Pros:

Emplacement parfait au coeur du quartier des libraires. La chambre supérieure est très spacieuse (presque un peu trop). Très propre, lits très confortable

Cons:

Nous avons été surpris par la froideur de l'accueil. Nous disions bonjour en passant devant le desk mais nous avons rarement eu un bonjour en retour.
Petit dejeuner en dessous de ce que l'on peut attendre de ce standard (offre variée mais pas très qualitative)

We were very pleased with our stay at Room Mate Alba. A really cozy hotel in an awesome location!
Pros:

Location was perfect for first time visit to Madrid. Hotel was comfortable, clean and had a cozy vibe. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay here again and also recommend to others. Overall lovely experience.

Cons:

Minor detail but worth noting as a first impression. There was only one chocolate in our room to welcome us upon arrival. It would be nice if there was one for each of us but maybe this was just an oversight?
