All pomp but no ceremony.

Beautiful grand hotel and location

Cons:

Allocated a room which was only suitable for a single occupancy. Inadequate storage, only one bedside table and minute bathroom. To be fare, this was rectified by staff and we were given a much more suitable room but the single room shouldn't have been given to a couple in the first place.
Service at breakfast very poor and slow. Waited over 15 minutes to be attended (only having raised our concerns with one of the staff). 4 other parties who came in after us were served first. We only received our breakfast after 40 minutes. We were not charged (as they recognised the poor service). However, the next day we could not get a table as we had not reserved one. We have never been unable to get a breakfast at a hotel before and certainly on a relaxing holiday, not had to set a time to get up and be ready for a spefic reservation.

Would happily stay here again
Pros:

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel was clean and felt very spacious. We were lucky to receive a free room upgrade and they were very accommodating to us traveling with a toddler.

Cons:

Missing the smallest size face towels. It was still hot even with the thermostat adjusted. Did not get any lower than 21 degrees celsius.

很好，很轻松的体验，还会约亲朋入住。
Pros:

位置👍酒店建筑很有特色，酒店历史悠久，具有典故传说，尤其是酒店吉祥物黑色拉布拉多犬，对宠物爱好者太有吸引力了。还有专属Lot 35茶，好喝也安心。

Cons:

客房没有酒店指南，这点很不可思议。其次，酒店布草和一些硬件设施配套需要更新。
