My stay at the West Hollywood EDITION was absolutely incredible. Every single staff member I encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. They truly go above and beyond to make sure your stay is nothing short of amazing, and their attention to detail made me feel so well taken care of from check-in to check-out.

A special thank you to Sheen, who went above and beyond after I accidentally left my medication behind. He made sure I got it back quickly and was so kind, helpful, and reassuring throughout the entire process. That level of care and hospitality is something you don’t come across often, and it meant so much to me.

10/10 stay—I can’t recommend the West Hollywood EDITION enough. I can’t wait to come back!

My wife and I travel extensively and have been fortunate to stay in some truly remarkable hotels around the world. As a Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Elite member, I’ve experienced many of Marriott’s finest properties, so it takes something genuinely special to stand out. The West Hollywood EDITION does exactly that.

From the moment we arrived, we knew this property was different. The rooms are beautifully designed with a clean, sophisticated aesthetic that somehow manages to feel both luxurious and comfortable at the same time. Every detail feels intentional, creating an atmosphere that’s elegant without ever feeling pretentious.

What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its energy. The vibe throughout the property is vibrant, stylish, and effortlessly cool. It’s one of those rare places that feels alive from morning until late into the evening. Beautiful people, positive energy, incredible music, and an atmosphere that somehow feels both exciting and relaxing. It’s undeniably one of the sexiest hotel properties we’ve experienced, and without question, one of the coolest hotels we’ve stayed in anywhere in the world.

The people elevated the experience even further. Trevor at the rooftop bar made every visit memorable with his warm personality, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. And Sheen, who welcomed us at check-in, immediately made us feel like valued guests rather than simply another reservation. That first impression matters, and Sheen set the tone for an exceptional stay.

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that beautiful buildings can be designed by architects, but memorable hotels are created by the people who work inside them. The team at The West Hollywood EDITION clearly understands that hospitality isn’t just about service. It’s about making people feel welcome, appreciated, and excited to return.

The West Hollywood EDITION has earned a place on our very short list of favorite hotels anywhere. If you’re looking for stunning accommodations, impeccable service, an electric atmosphere, and one of the best rooftop scenes in Los Angeles, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better choice.

My wife and I left already talking about our next visit. That’s probably the greatest compliment we can give. We’ll absolutely be back.

We had an incredible stay at The EDITION Hollywood from July 15 to July 19. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. Every part of the experience from the food and service to the overall atmosphere was outstanding.

A very special thank you to Sheen at the front desk, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Sheen was incredibly welcoming, professional, and always willing to help with anything we needed. His exceptional hospitality made us feel genuinely valued and turned a great stay into an amazing one.

Great customer service, many staff members remember you by name! Joti at the front desk was amazing. Clean hotel friendly staff, can't ask for more. The weekend atmosphere was a vibe, might not be everyone's cup of tea but I had a blast. Bar and food was pretty solid as well.

The West Hollywood Edition is breathtaking. I love the Roof, I love the Lobby, I love Sunset club and I love SHEEN! I lost my airpods at night and Sheen, the front desk, and security helped me find my lost items quickly and professionally. There aren’t words in my vocabulary that can describe how much I appreciate this location and their team. I’ve never had a bad experience here.

If you’re reading this just going ahead and book the room, buy the ticket take the ride it is money well spent!

This is not a luxury hotel—it pretends to be (and wants to be)—but it falls way short. Here’s the rundown;
On our first night, we woke up to flooded floors. There was a leak in the ceiling above us that trickled dirty water down the wall all night. Delightful. That aside, the bathrobes were stained. Unacceptable.
On our second night, we were upgraded to one of their suites as an apology. When we transferred rooms and settled in, we noticed the couch had blood stains on it. Disgusting. We informed management, who promptly performed a deep clean. I don’t want to imagine hygiene standards at this hotel if a white couch stained with blood passes a quality check.
On our third night, we came back to the room and found a ripped pillow case on our bed. Absolutely filthy.
Overall, the rooms leave much to be desired. They want to “look” cool above actually being functional and providing a luxury experience (despite charging >1k a night for a basic room). Towels and linens are not replaced daily; bedside light switches are not master switches, which means you have to get out of bed and walk to your front door to turn the lights off; and room keys get deactivated frequently.
The bed sizes are advertised as “king size”, but are actually queen size (we measured!), and the overall feel of the hotel is way too casual for what it purports to be. I was called “bro” and “man” by waiters and pool staff. Further, housekeeping also re-hangs used towels left on the floor, and does not replace glasses or other items in the minibar.
This is the most wannabe place I’ve ever seen. Avoid.
