Perfect location in a historic building
Pros:

Great location, friendly staff. Beautiful staircase, nice balcony towards the sea. The room could have had more space for two suitcases. Apart from that very nice stay!

For a 5 star hotel there were various things that should be improved. The room service was inattentive, there were features of the hotel that were only discovered after self research, there was limited interaction to discuss our stay at check-in, etc.

Aus der hohen Anzahl von verfügbaren 5-Sterne-Hotels in Stockholm nach unserer Erfahrung sicher eines der Top 3. Sehr persönlicher Boutique-Charakter mit top Lage für fußläufige Ausflüge zu fast allen Attraktionen und den trendidgen Stadtvierteln von Stockholm - zugleich top Aussicht auf den Fährhafen. Sehr professionelles, gut ausgebildetes und nettes Personal, ausgezeichnete Küche zu allen Tageszeiten (Frühstück mit Kombination aus Buffet und à la carte), top Café „in house“ (Butiken), Stil wird im gesamten Haus durchgezogen und passt hervorragend zu Östermalm und Strandvägen. „Private Wellness/Sauna“ (mit ausreichend Vorlauf) buchbar. Typisches Östermalm-Publikum, ggf. für manche etwas „posh“ (aber angenehm).

Cons:

Das ist die Suche nach dem Wasser im Wein. Man könnte den altertümlichen Aufzug anführen, der aber auch einen eigenen Charme hat. Sicher in Summe aufgrund vieler Treppen und Absätze weniger für Menschen mit Bewegungseinschränkungen geeignet. Zimmer sind sehr unterschiedlich und u. U. klein und mit weniger schöner Aussicht in einen Innenhof (kann man aber bei Buchung angeben). Zu Stoßzeiten morgens, mittags und abends mitunter schon recht voll im Restaurant/Frühstückbereich, da es auch ein beliebter Spot für Einheimische und Touristen ist.

Great location, small rooms
Pros:

Excellent location, nice staff, good view from the room. Quirky vintage cage elevator.

Cons:

The room and bathroom are really small for the price. Turndown service at night was very strange, the bed was just rumpled as if someone had been in it. No water provided, just empty water jugs, in the middle of a heatwave!

Really beautiful hotel, friendly staff and great breakfasts.

Cons:

The location is great but because of that it can get quite noisy from traffic during the day. We were in a room facing the main street so it may be better in other rooms.
