It was suitable for me because I had to be close to the hospital, but probably will not return.
Pros:

I like that they offer breakfast.

My sink in the room did not work well and the staff at the front desk when I checked in was not so friendly

Good value, but the upkeep could use a little more attention
Pros:

Location to the ocean. It was a great value for the money

Cons:

1. I reserved the room and when I got there, there wasn’t one available. The lady at the desk was very nice and called her boss. He then found us a room.
2. The toilet was not working at all. We had to keep going in the tank to flush. Very inconvenient and gross.

Good price for room near the beach in Newport.
Pros:

Location was very good for what we were looking to do. We road our bikes to the beach and walked to restaurants nearby. We may be staying there again soon.

Cons:

Facility is older and showing its age. The pool was being worked on during our visit so we were not able to use it.

Comfortable stay in Costa Mesa
Pros:

The beds were very comfortable, the room had everything we needed inside, i.e., fridge, TV, towels & toiletries, parking and location was good, breakfast was included. There was an outside seating area, ice machine which was useful and a vending machine. Groceries and food places were all close and local.

Cons:

Pool & laundry facilities were out of use as they were being updated, but would have been useful to have been told this on booking, or before our arrival. Rooms were a bit dated, but were comfortable & had everything we needed.

I do not recommend this hotel.
Pros:

Dity, rundown, faucet leaked, pool closed. Drunks in parking lot at night, did not feel safe. The staff did not help. Just asked why we parked there. There was no other place to park. Had to walk to room by ourselves.

Not worth it
Pros:

The room smelt like mold and mildew really bad, we had to prop our door open for fresh air. The beds were hard and the blankets were paper thin. Staff were nice. Breakfast was ok.

Cold shower. Cracked floor tiles in bathroom. Shower dripping.
Way overdue for a renovation.
No house keeping we stayed 7 nights.
Pool was closed.
