Decent inexpensive option
Pros:

It's a decent hotel to stay in, reasonably clean and inexpensive. It is older and shares a building with a residential apartment building so it's a little busier than some hotels. There are plenty of restaurants nearby but it is a pretty far distance to the nice beaches.

Much different than staying in Waikiki, where we stayed many times.
Pros:

Great view from 31st floor. Staff was very helpful with luggage when we arrive early and quickly fixing small glitches with TV remote and safe.

Cons:

I expected that parking was included in the cost. Also we did not like getting up & down to 8th floor parking.
Room was not cleaned during our 4 day stay; I was told it would be cleaned on the 3rd day.

Pros:

The bathtub and the view and very very comfy bed
Spacious with separate room and desk to work in very very close to amenities bus routes and food

Cons:

The room is a bit dated but it was spacious the internet kept dropping out but at least a half an hour taxi ride or longer on public transport to Waikiki

Great stay and location if in Honolulu for other than tourism.
Pros:

Very comfortable and clean.

Cons:

A few more amenities in the kitchen would have been nice, paper towels, hand towels, measuring cups, etc.

Location, location, location!
Pros:

The Aston at the Executive Centre is our favorite place to stay in Honolulu. We have stayed here several times and will be back. On this trip we needed to go to Queen's Hospital and we had to extend our stay. The staff was very accommodating and we were able to remain in the same room. We also weathered a Kona low storm here and it was a great shelter from the wind and rain. We loved having the 7/11, Paris Baguette, CU Hawaii at street level of the hotel.

Just what I needed!
Pros:

I chose this hotel due to its location near to the Queen's Medical Center.
Although the hotel is not particularly modern, I found that the staff more than made up for this by being extremely warm, friendly and welcoming. I had a harbour view room, which was large and self-contained with a kitchenette and dining area.
The only thing that I found slightly disappointing was the lack of a restaurant for breakfast. However I imagine that having a microwave in the room meant that it was based on a self catering concept.
Overall I had an excellent stay in difficult circumstances - my husband had suffered a Heart Attack and had been rushed to hospital during our, what was supposed to be, brief stop in Honolulu on our cruise.

Pros:

Checking was a breeze as they had everything prepared. Loved everything the elevator safety key pass. The entire hotel was very clean. If we needed anything extra, the staff was very polite in providing.

Disappointment
Pros:

Too much construction going on. The lighting was insufficient in a lot of areas in the parking garage. Used to work a block away and now Fort Street mall is a mess.
