Cons:

The male house keeper, that kept banging on my door and telling me it was time to check out, when I had told him several times, I had already re rented the room online, he proceeded to open the door and stay , until I got up and got dressed, and went to the front desk to prove to him, I had already rented the room again.

Get your shit together!!
Cons:

We showed up at midnight, and they told me there was no availability, when I had booked the room a month prior. They were going to try to move me to another hotel, I said no way, just give me a dirty room, we were dead tired, and we were upset about not having our room ready.

A very nice stay with a lot of little hidden extras
Pros:

I thought it was great, the breakfast presented better than expectations (I didn’t expect too much). Looking at reviews I didn’t have too much expectations of the hotel, however, I was very pleasantly surprised at everything.
Just shows.., don’t believe everything in the reviews will be what you experience.

Cons:

Honestly, I can’t fault. Hotel room could do with a bit of a revamp, but it gave us what we needed so we were happy.

Very expensive for a very below-average room.

Staff was nice.

Cons:

Very expensive for a sub-par room. The room smelled bad. TV was very sporadic. There was no couch or even a comfortable chair. Just a small plastic chair for furniture (other than the beds). Bed linens were thin. AC was super loud and smelly. Air fan in the bathroom also smelly. One small bar of soap and no other body wash. Price was very high for a very below-average room.

The pool and breakfast and room were great the massive police force and gunshots and still not knowing what happen was unsettling we had 3 young elementary kids playing in pool when whenever happened happened.

Conveniently located near downtown Anchorage, this hotel offered excellent value with friendly staff

The hotel is conveniently located close to downtown Anchorage, making it easy to explore the city.
We were able to leave our luggage before check-in at the hotel. The gentleman at the front desk when we arrived back in the afternoon was efficient, friendly, and very helpful. We also appreciated the complimentary shuttle service to the airport, and the driver was also very nice.
Breakfast met expectations. The hot food was well-cooked, there was plenty of seating available, and the coffee was particularly good. The kitchen staff maintained the breakfast room efficiently, keeping all areas clean and sufficiently restocked.
Our room was spacious and comfortable. We also liked the quality of the bathroom toiletries; the soap, shampoo, and conditioner were really nice.
Overall, we found the hotel to offer very good value. We would happily stay here again when visiting Anchorage.

Cons:

Overall, we had an enjoyable stay, but there are a few areas where the hotel could improve.
The breakfast offering was good; however, the use of disposable plastic plates and cutlery was a little disappointing. We understand this is likely more convenient for staff, but reusable options would enhance the dining experience and reduce waste.
The room was generally clean, but there were several dog treats left on the floor when we arrived, suggesting a previous guest had travelled with a pet, and the room may not have been vacuumed thoroughly before check-in.
The other issue was the air-conditioning unit. While it did an excellent job of masking the noise from the nearby trains, it was so loud that we couldn't comfortably leave it running overnight. A quieter unit would make for a more restful sleep.
These were relatively minor issues, and with a little attention to housekeeping and room maintenance, the hotel could provide an even better guest experience.
