No coffee maker in the room.

Everything else was BAD! The free “shuttle” was a staff members personal vehicle who made us feel like a burden for having the audacity to request a ride. The check in was bad, rushed and again was seemingly an extreme inconvenience for the staff to have to be bothered with what was supposed to be a seamless quick check in as we “pre checked in” online. The rooms were disgustingly filthy and smelled terrible as they were cooled with wall unit air conditioners from maybe the early 90s. There were stains everywhere, scratches on the walls, and I’d recommend NEVER touching the carpet without shoes on. The price was INSANE for what we got. The area around the hotel was full of trash. I had to step around an old discarded refrigerator and other junk right as I exited the stairs on the side to get outside. It’s likely best to just remodel the whole thing and replace all the staff. The room was also missing the fire exit info but that’s not as big of deal because there was no way people would forget how to leave this place!

Rooms a little tired but fine

Oh man. So many things: We stayed there over 10 years ago and it seemed like the property in general had deteriorated. No improvements whatsoever. The carpet smelled like urine. It was extremely strong in one of our rooms and not quite as strong in another, but still present. They did move one of our rooms quickly. The staff seemed like they hated working there and checkin had a long line with just one person working the front desk. The breakfast was in a tiny room off behind the front desk. It was packed, difficult to move around in and not enough tables for the crowd. The food was mediocre, even compared to general "free" continental breakfasts.

The person at the desk was very rude. I felt like I annoyed them for trying to check-in. Also, I called for an airport shuttle and they said it'll be there shortly. I waited 20 min and called back to check the status to make sure I hadn't missed it by accident. They gave me a snippy answer about it still being a short time. The shuttle didn't come for another 8 min. 28 minutes does not equate to "shortly" in my book and to top it off I wasn't even rude to them. We asked for some extra towels and they made it seem like it was the biggest ask in the world. Perhaps that person just was having a bad day, but nevertheless they were rude to multiple people in my party.

Avoid this hotel.

The place is old, dirty, poorly maintained, and desperately in need of renovation. The rooms are unclean, the building feels like it hasn't been updated in decades, and every noise travels through the walls and floors.

As if that wasn't bad enough, the hotel sits right next to train tracks. Train whistles blast throughout the night and sound like they're passing directly through your room. Sleeping here is nearly impossible.

I was already exhausted after being kept awake by noise all night, only to receive a wake-up call at 5:00 AM for an airport shuttle I never requested. When I explained they had the wrong room, there wasn't even a proper apology—just a shrug and "it was on the schedule."

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had in a long time. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else, even if you think it's just one night. Totally rip off prices.

Das Zimmer war ziemlich teuer. Einige Kleinigkeiten im Zimmer waren ein wenig alt. Für Lärmempfindliche sind vielleicht die Bahngeräusche zu viel. (Der Frühstücksraum war klein, aber ich habe immer einen Platz bekommen.)

The rooms could use an update.

Overall our experience was unsatisfactory. We had stayed here before in June 2022 and it has gone downhill! Airport shuttle took forever. We were told by hotel staff there was a shuttle to the train in the morning, but when we inquired in the morning we were informed that it had to be booked the night before. Our first room had no heat. Additionally, when we arrived after 11 pm the window was open and the room was freezing (outside temp was in low 40s). The front desk person said she could give us extra blankets (really?). We requested a room change which was done but it was clearly an inconvenience. The rooms are getting really run down.

The bathroom light didn’t turn off. We heard trains all night. The breakfast selection was minimal, with many things not available. It was old and outdated. The desk in our room was falling apart.

Can you add fresh fruit-banana, apple or orange to breakfast?
