The first room they gave us wasn’t available because the handy man was repairing things. We had to tell the desk and move to another room Check in took very long. Only one person at the desk

Cons:

The recalcitrant staff. Lack of hygiene. Dogs allowed in the hotel, with one in next room howling away while owners went out for dinner. Room facilities were old, dated and falling apart. The train station within 100 metres with trains that blasted their horns from 5am to 1am. The overhead highway which went virtually over the roof of the hotel. The disgusting breakfast. Lack of heating. Windows which didn't close properly.

Die Zimmer waren in Ordnung und sauber. Frühstück kein europäischer Standard, aber ok.

Cons:

Leider wurden mehrere Anfragen vor der Anreise zum kostenlosen Flughafenshuttle nicht beantwortet. Daher musste ein Taxi bezahlt werden. Die Rezeption war nicht sehr hilfsbereit, z,B. wurde mehrmals versprochene Bettwäsche einfach nicht gebracht.

The room was comfortable and clean. Great location.

Location was great, a 5 minute walk to the train station.

Cons:

For the price, it could really use some upgrades. Just a bit tired looking. The shuttle was sitting in the parking lot with a flat tire, looked like it had been there for quite a while.

The only good thing is that it was close to the train station.

Cons:

The facility is old and worn. We also had sand/grit in out bed. In the morning the breakfast was late and after they served it a homeless lady was allowed in the facility. She proceeded to touch and cough all over everything. We also had a shuttle scheduled through the hotel that was late and ended up having to drag all of our bags to the train station just so we wouldn't be late.

Paid as much for this stay as another very clean up to date stay several blocks away.
Cons:

There was mold in the bathroom. Entire facility was out dated. We traveled with several people who had similar experiences.

Great Location, Okay Room
Pros:

Great location near all things downtown Anchorage. Room was clean, staff was friendly. There is some noise due to being close to the train station, but nothing inside the hotel. Value was good for the area, The room only had one chair and no drawers to store your cloths , therefore we had to live out of our luggage's. The atmosphere was okay, we was out most of the time,

Pros:

The bed was comfortable and linens were good. Tina in the breakfast area was great. She kept everything stocked, excellent coffee and clean. Jallow at counter was friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The pictures are quite deceiving and misleading. This is a very old hotel and it shows. It needs to be gone through and fixed up. The windows were filthy. The carpet was clean. The AC needs to be replaced.
