Bardzo dobra lokalizacja. Dobre śniadanie. 250 metrów do stacji metra. Większość atrakcji do 1.5 km. Pokój może nieco klaustrofobiczny.. ale w kocu do Rzymu jedzie sie zwiedzać a nie spędzać czas w pokoju. Oldschoolowa winda.
Staff was amazing. Location couldn't be better.

Hotel Britannia completely turned my trip around. It was exactly what I needed after a stressful start in Rome.
As a solo traveler visiting Rome for the first time, I was looking for a hotel where I could feel safe, welcomed, and comfortable, and Hotel Britannia exceeded every expectation.
From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, professional, and genuinely kind. After a stressful experience elsewhere, their hospitality immediately put me at ease. The check-in process was smooth, and it was such a relief to have a knowledgeable front desk available to answer questions and offer assistance.
The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. My room was exactly what I needed after long days of exploring the city. Air conditioning (which was greatly appreciated during the summer heat) and a comfy bed to get a great night’s sleep.
The location was another highlight. I found it easy to reach many of Rome’s major attractions, and there were plenty of restaurants and transportation options nearby. It was the perfect home base for exploring the city.
What stood out most, though, was how the staff made me feel. Traveling alone internationally can be intimidating, but they created an environment where I felt welcomed and cared for.
If you’re visiting Rome, especially as a solo traveler, I would absolutely recommend Hotel Britannia. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on my next trip.
The staff said they upgraded us for extra 10 Eur but we ended up getting the same room we had paid for. The room was dusty and AC wasn’t cooling the room well enough. First time ever during hotel stay we lost electricity in the room because we charged both our phones together. The lift stopped working couple of times we were there too and also the bottles with bathroom supplies kept losing their nozzles ever time we tried to use them. Also the room and bathroom were both so cramped you had to sit sideways on the pot because it was so close to wall. The Tv also could not be connected to phone and had absolutely no English Channel whatsoever. Overall glad we booked it only for a day else it would have ruined the trip.
Overall good stay at the hotel, room was very clean, comfortable bed and they had a crib set up for our 1 year old and the staff was incredibly kind. The hotel is just very outdated and power went out while we were there.
The location, staff, and overall vibe were incredible! The hotel felt grounded and welcoming, making us feel completely well-rested and calm between our city adventures. We were greeted with amazing enthusiasm and given a physical map - which, despite feeling a bit old-school, was incredibly helpful since all our personalised recommendations were marked right on it.
The breakfast didn't quite feel like it was up to a 4-star hotel standard, but given that we were in Rome, I wasn’t expecting it to be the main event anyway. It was perfectly sufficient and gave us a good, solid foundation to start our days.
The staff (especially Alice) was lovely. The hotel has an amazing history and a great old world charm. The room was on the small size but we were very grateful for the air conditioning. The complimentary water was also a bonus.
The shower over the bath was a bit small for me as I am a big chap and none of the tv channels had any English speaking channels. I asked reception and they said they could change the channels language and would ask maintenance but they didn't do it.
Zona carina per essere vicina a Termini. Vari ristoranti nella zona
Tutto abbastanza datato e da rimodernare. Diverse cose da sistemare legato ad una manutenzione poco attenta
One big disapointment is how I would rate this hotel. Before getting into all of what went wrong, I have to say that the people at the front desk could not be nicer.
This hotel represents itself as a four star hotel. It is far from being one. The walls, carpents, and many parts of the hotels are run-down and in a need for an extensive renovation. I walked in and asked to stay for three nights. But on the first day, when arriving to my room at 14:30, after a long working day in the hottest time in Rome, I found that my room was not cleaned. I was told that it is until 15:00 that they are obligated to clean. I have never heard of such a thing. After two nights, I left and rather than charging me for two nights, they changed me for three after I left. When I requested refund, the manager refused to give the refund. Going through my credit card, refund was applied, but the entire experience was unpleasant.
The staff were very helpful
The room was a little dated and probably a little expensive for the facilities.
