Place was nice and clean and quiet.
The breakfest stayed empty
Very good eggs and sausage and a begal!
We stayed at the hotel over Fourth of July weekend. This Hyatt is in desperate need of a thorough deep clean and some remodeling. The toilet in our room was non functional so we had to use the lobby bathroom. We requested this be fixed the day we arrived but unfortunately there was no maintenance available. We were told it would be fixed in the morning but when we checked out four days later it had not been handled.
The breakfast was ok but the tables were always dirty. There was no requirement for people to be appropriately dressed for breakfast and people were there without shoes.
I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere in Cincinnati.
The hotel is located in a great area and has an outdoor pool.
The sink was clogged up, my spouse had to unclog it himself. I tried to get help from the housekeepers, they did not understand English. The lobby air conditioner went out, it was extremely hot in the building. The breakfast area was in the lobby which was very odd. One elevator was broken. When it was time to check out the front desk attendant was no where to be found and when myself and other guests asked for checkout receipts, the front desk attendant did not know how to work the printer or pull up checkout receipts. I literally had to go around the desk to type my own email in so that she could email me a receipt. This was the most unprofessional experience at a hotel that I’ve ever experienced.
Their hospitality was top notch. Made our stay much more enjoyable!
This was the worst experience baseball trip we have ever had. No laundry in the hotel for a 5 day tournament. Sink in the room would clog up nightly with black sewer water. When we arrived q-tips were on the floor in the bathroom, rag in a drawer had pubic hair in it. The morning breakfast is not breakfast more like slop type of breakfast. I got better breakfast in the military. Location is in a good area in north Cincy, so it really surprised up how bad the hotel was ran. Pool was cold for the time of year and maintenance did not remove the cover bolts on the ground. We had one kid hit one with their floor and jammed his toe. Nearly broke it.
They offered me a discount for the whole stay but only put it in for one night. Management has refused to talk to anyone from the team about our complaints and refuses to compensate in anyway.
not put dated
bathroom had dirty floor
We got to our room and discovered the sink was clogged and the mattress cover for the sofa bed had crumbs on it. Fine. We survived night 1. I asked the front desk to fix the issues for night 2 (in addition to providing additional pillows). When we returned for night 2, none of what we asked had been done. Truly the worst hotel experience of my life and I travel a lot.
Dirty sheets, skid marks, complained at check out time and only was given 20% off. Should have been comped. Manager was not in lobby and no employees appeared for 5 minutes at noon.
Old hotel.
No soap or shampoo. Toilet handle kept falling off, light was falling from ceiling, not enough coffee or food for breakfast.
Our recent stay at Hyatt Place Blue Ash was disappointing, primarily due to the lack of customer service and attention to basic hotel operations.
Throughout our stay, customer service was virtually nonexistent. Calls to the front desk frequently went unanswered, and on multiple occasions we came downstairs only to find no one at the front desk. This made it extremely difficult to request housekeeping services, additional towels, or assistance with other needs.
When housekeeping requests were made, they were only partially completed. For example, trash would eventually be removed, but new trash bags were not replaced in the cans, leaving folded bags sitting in the bottom rather than installed and ready for use.
The complimentary breakfast was also underwhelming. The menu was identical every day with no variation, and several basic items were missing. There were no bowls available for cereal, and the toaster was not working, making it impossible to have toast or bagels. Overall, the breakfast felt minimal and lacked the effort and attention guests expect.
While our room was acceptable overall, our friends' experience was far worse. Upon arrival, they found leftover false eyelashes in the shower and used tissues on the vanity, raising concerns about the cleanliness of the room. Additionally, their bathtub repeatedly overflowed during showers. Maintenance was contacted multiple times regarding these issues, but no one ever came to address them. Ultimately, they were forced to manage the problems themselves.
Unfortunately, the combination of poor customer service, inconsistent housekeeping, inadequate breakfast offerings, cleanliness concerns, and lack of maintenance response left us disappointed with our stay. We expected much more from a Hyatt property.
Trash cans were full throughout, light fixtures missing in main lobby, breakfast was disorganized and out of silverware, syrup, & coffee, wait times at the front desk to check in was long even at 11pm with 4 people ahead of us and no one at the front desk, and the body wash was completely empty in our room. The signs in the elevator were all torn and taped back up crooked. The overall feel of the hotel was dirty and gross.
The older building I can deal with, but the lack of customer service/experience and attention to detail for a Hyatt is dismal. It was just as bad as the Atlanta Airport Hyatt Place.
I like checking out of the place
The ceiling in my room was leaking, the hallway was dirty. Everything looked old and barely holding up.
If I had to pay for this stay, I would have been disappointed. I went to King's Island and it was a free place to stay with points. There was hair in the bathtub, and the floor didn't look clean. We had to use the sofa bed unfortunately. The mattress was thin and dirty and lacking a fitted sheet, which I had to ask for. Staff was attentive and friendly, although it was kind of weird that I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk. Thermostat wasn't working properly, as it was consistently cold even though the thermostat was set to 74. Breakfast was mediocre. Hotel itself is in need of renovation.
