Expensive for what I would says is a 3 star property at best
The breakfast was great, delicious variety, friendly staff.
Number one, the cost was way more than I had expected, much too expensive for one night. Getting to the room was a little confusing. The bathroom was not as clean as expected. The bed was nice and comfortable but the pillows were too stiff.
Check in was smooth. Breakfast was great. Staff was wonderful!

Not as clean as it should be. Small room. Not clear with directions to room. Was like a maze without signs. Very grey and sterile. Pictures didnt represent the room right.
Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were better than expected. Appreciated having laundry facilities on-site and available 24/7.
Perhaps the laundry could use more than two washers and dryers.
The parking area alongside the building was very tight.
The hotel offers spacious parking and a great view of the lake.
I stayed for two nights. The room type I booked on Booking.com was a lake view, but when I checked in (around 10:00 PM), I was given a ground-floor room right next to the parking lot with no lake view at all, compared to what I paid for.
The room only had a "Privacy" sign and no "Make Up Room" sign. Even though I didn't hang the Privacy sign, the hotel didn't clean my room, claiming it was their policy that guests must request room service at the front desk first. However, no staff member informed me of this rule during check-in. Standard practice worldwide is that housekeeping cleans the room unless a "Do Not Disturb" sign is displayed.
When I contacted the front desk to request cleaning, they told me that housekeeping shifts end at 5:00 PM, so no one was available. Both the receptionist and the supervisor kept passing the blame back and forth without offering any support. I am extremely disappointed with my two-night family stay here.
De kamer was wel oké, ruim en netjes, parkeren was prima.
De airco maakt enorm veel lawaai, het ontbijt was zeer matig. De prijs was hoger dan afgesproken.

Good location to explore Halifax but also to access a good walk along the chain lake trail if you wanted some exercise

Appearances can be deceptive and when we pulled in we didn’t think the hotel was going to be very nice. However we were proved wrong.

The staff, the location and the view
The food at supper was mediocre, the breakfast was hum drum, the elevator scared us, it didn't open sometimes and once it opened only 1/2 way, so we took the stairs after that. The floors are not flat anywhere we went and in our room we had to maneuver a dip and hill on the floor, weird...
Kind and friendly staff, a great view, and excellent parking!
The breakfast menu was almost the same every day. I expected to see more variety, but the options were mainly red beans, bacon, fried potatoes, and eggs.
My room was on the top floor (9th floor), but unfortunately, the Wi-Fi connection was very poor. Sometimes there was no signal at all, and many times the connection was extremely weak and slow. I’m glad I had enough mobile data on my phone, but I ended up using all of it during my vacation because of the poor Wi-Fi.
