The location was great and staff was very friendly.
The room was really small but we weren’t there to stay in the room!
The bed was comfortable and the water in the shower was HOT.
Location staff air con good but a little noisy
A bit rundown sticky carpets
Loved it ! It was a wonderful experience!!!
The location was excellent, the valet service was excellent. We were able to store medication in the lobby fridge as no room fridge.
The lift didn’t go up to our floor. The staff weren’t friendly at the bar.
The location on the water. Easy walk to Sutter Health Park. Easy walk to near by stores and restaurants.
Room was small and not too quiet. 2 off the outlets didn't work. The ones that did work, our phone chargers would just fall out of them. The toilets are scary when you flush them.
Our burgers at the restaurant were ordered medium but were burnt.
The location is awesome and the hotel is very charming, staff are friendly, everything clean, good food in restaurant. Rooms have adequate space, storage and amenities.
There were no chairs to sit around the decks except outside the restaurant and bar. It would have been nice to have comfy chairs to sit outside on the riverside.
location
The idea of a river boat was awesome. Great presentation and the staff were superb
The noise that the seals make is extremely loud so that earplugs are provided and it’s all night. Something that you should be made aware of as the noise is so bad you will be up all night, ear plugs or not.
Moving the seals by 100 metres by relocating the pontoons across the river would suffice.
Classic riverboat accommodations. Restaurant onboard was excellent.
No onsite parking except for valet which was $30.
Great to stay on a converted boat, room was not huge but comfortable enough for a one night stay. Staff were helpful. Public parking close by was fine.
The seals over the river were a bit noisy, despite the provided ear plugs. The food in the restaurant was average, the service was poor and the drinks very expensive. It would be nice to have a small refrigerator.
The view
I would like to have had a tour
You can't beat the location. You walk off the boat right into the middle of Sacramento Old Town. Sutter Health Stadium is an 11 minute walk. You have a bar and a restaurant right on board, and a view of the river and Tower Bridge. The boat itself has an interesting history and it's a unique experience to stay there. Pro tip, skip Joe's Crab Shack and eat at the Railroad fish and chips place right at the top of the boat ramp. Go to the train museum, it's only a block away!
I wish you had to be a hotel guest to enter the sections of the boat that are hotel rooms. We had a few sightseers hanging out in front of our room a few times, including someone filming themselves doing a tiktok dance. Made taking naps a little difficult, but this is really a first world problem and I should shut up.
