Beautiful hotel in a quiet location
Pros:

We had a wonderful 5-night stay. While we had originally booked a "classic" room, we were offered the option to upgrade to a "superior" room for an additional 20euro/ night. The "superior" room was on a higher floor and is larger than the "classic". We're glad we did....mostly because of the additional space. And even then...the room was really small (I can't even image how small the "classic" room would have been. :-) But other than that, a clean and beautiful hotel located only a block from the Luxembourg gardens. Very quiet location, with a metro stop just across the street. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Outstanding 4-star Latin Quarter hotel near the Luxembourg Garden
Pros:

I stayed at this hotel twice, from May 22-28 and June 9-11, 2026. Friends who had stayed there several times had highly recommended it and I agree 100% with their recommendation. It was everything I was looking for in a Paris hotel: a 4-star boutique hotel in the 5th arrondissement (Latin Quarter), reasonably priced, recently remodeled, with an elevator, air conditioning, bar and restaurant, 24-hour reception desk, and easy for a taxi to locate. The address is 107 Blvd. Saint Michel, across from the Luxembourg Garden and right next to the RER B stop. I could easily walk north (toward the Seine) to reach the Luxembourg Garden (on the left), the Pantheon and Cluny Museum (on the right), Notre Dame, and Sainte Chapelle, in that order. There are many stores, restaurants, and cafes along the Blvd. Saint Michel, but just to the east is a neighborhood of typical narrow Parisian streets, boulangeries, more restaurants, and cafes, and the rue Mouffetard, which is eclectic and fun to explore. The staff at the hotel were welcoming and friendly. My room was nicely appointed, very modern, with an immaculately clean wooden floor and spacious bathroom with a heated towel rack (useful for drying clothes overnight). The air conditioning unit was covered and made no noise but the blower was forceful enough that my room was cool all the time. Control panel is on the wall. My first stay coincided with a heat wave so I appreciated the modern, quiet air conditioning. The windows are large and can open if you want to get fresh air. The elevator is small but big enough for me and my luggage. As a solo traveler, I did make use of the restaurant a few evenings when I wanted to eat a light dinner at my hotel. The restaurant is called Luco. The menu is limited (it’s on the hotel website) but had enough choices that I could have something light, like quiche, or get a full dinner like fish or chicken. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. I will definitely stay there again.
