Wonderful
Pros:

Location is great, the lake view is beautiful. We could walk around the boardwalk to see the sights but also in the downtown area for shopping and restaurants. There was a lot of parking so it was nice not having to pay any parking fees. Breakfast was good with lots of food options and had many tables. Breakfast had things like eggs, meat like sausages or ham, pancakes, waffles, yogurt, milk, juice, etc. Coffee, tea, and water were available all day and night in the lobby. Very comfy place.

Cons:

Nothing, everything was great.

Pros:

Loved the proximity to the boardwalk and everything in canal Park plus Park Point Beach

Cons:

The old grouchy staff lady with the white hair in the breakfast lobby as she kept muttering negativity toward my kids as we grabbed our breakfast.

Fabulous Hotel
Pros:

I loved this hotel !!! From the sense of arrival, to the staff, the room and breakfast

Upon check in, I asked if I could get a lake view room. The lady at the desk said "of course, do you want it on the second or third floor? I said I didn't care and she said she would put me on three as those rooms were slightly larger.

The room was huge!! A separate sitting area looking out the lake view windows. Very clean and well stocked. The bed was super comfortable and I slept soundly both nights. The towels were large, thick and fluffy.

Both mornings, breakfast was hot, delicious and plentiful. They had it spread out over 3 counters which helped alleviate long lines. They also had 3 people working the breakfast both mornings. I thought this was very efficient of the manager to schedule so heavy. It was definitely busy enough to warrant this staff.

The location was the best. Walking out the front door, there were tons of restaurants, bars and shops. Walking out the back, took you right to the Lake shore walk.

I would stay here again, in a heartbeat

Good location with some downsides
Pros:

Loved the location of this hotel. The beds- terrible. The staff- ok. We were not able to check in on time; had to come back to the desk 4 times before room was ready. They said they were going to text us and didn’t. Breakfasts- not a lot of gluten free options and I never wanted to ask (why do you need to ask??? It seems like complaining to me) Great for families (lots on site). Pool and spas were a hit. Expensive for how small our room was - two queens with a sofa bed. We were in room 112- so starting early in the morning you hear chairs squeaking across the floors in the dining area. Luckily I’m a morning person. Even with some of the downsides, I would consider this place again because it is just such a spectacular location. Highly walkable to dinner in lots of locations!

Absolutely excellent…the location is perfect!
Pros:

The location was perfect, we were able to walk to many restaurants, attractions, and being right on Canal Park was the best! Breakfast was great, a large variety of choices and the gathering space was so bright and inviting.

Cons:

It isn’t cheap, but the location makes it worth the price. We loved our stay!

Cons:

Our toilet was not clean. It was very visible when we walked in our room. The fridge also was not clean. I had to ask for service to have it cleaned before we finished bring our stuff in. The maid was rude while I was being gracious while also wanting it cleaned. The room itself also had an odor to it. We did not have this experience last year.
